Question for those with new Ford vehicles:
Background: leased a 2019 Edge with the standard Pre-Collision Assist with automatic emergency braking. Ensured it is enabled with high sensitivity.
Read the manual, watched the videos on operation.

Scott,
Good seeing you the other night at Uptown. It's one of the best beer bars in Michigan with a fantastic beer lineup AND good food.
Here is a link to the SCMC event at Gingerman September 18-20 we discussed:

Well, I'm allegedlly off the rest of the year on Holiday; save for the honey-do list, the bosses request to "stay available", the family get-to-gethers, and the unfinished work that has to get done this week....
(damn sounds like I'm moaning).
So I, and hopefully some of you are in need of a...

The spring release of Oberon is behind us and warmer weather is coming.
There are 4 things that a real man truly enjoys: fast cars (Terminators), good beer (anything Bell's), a fine woman, and a great sale.
I am compelled to share with my MCT brothers 2 of the 4:

During the winter month's Postban started a thread asking what people were doing over the winter month's. I will start a mini-blog and see where it goes.

I am very interested in learning more about chassis setup - are Scott and Brian really interested in teaching? Does anyone else in SE Michigan (or willing to travel here) have the same interest?

Does anyone have a couple of stock satin 17X9 wheels?
If anyone is interested - I have an extra pair of Nitto Extreme 555 II R road race tires in 275/40-17. They were road raced in AV8SS for one weekend - 1/2 tread or less left. Good cheap set if you want to check them out before buying...
Does anyone have a source for high temperature rear tie rod dust boots? The only option I have found is the 2000 R OE rod end (M-5848-R00), of which I only need the dust boot.
TIA
Last month at Gingerman I noticed the rear end would spin the inside wheel on Sunday. Yesterday, I noticed the dreaded 'one wheel peel'. Today, I placed the shifter in neutral, jacked up the car and spun my rear tire with one finger. Less than 5 pounds on the torque wrench.
Crap. Now I...
I went to Autozone to rent the 27035 internal spring compressor for the rear springs. Apparently they have changed it - no longer 2 double hooks; now it's a 'fork' with 1 double hook.
Has anyone used this (new) tool for the rear springs?
Tim and Brent mentioned tonight it was coming up soon...
June 25th appears to be the date - I don't see anything on the calendar?
Are we doing something this year? Great times last year.
I talked to the folks at CGI driving school today. They conduct an open track driving school at Gingerman Raceway in South Haven, MI. The two earliest dates that are not full are (Monday) June 13 and June 27. The cost is $175 for one day. Convertibles must have approved roll bars.

Four piston calipers+rotors+brake lines. I found them for $900, retail ~$1200 from a local retailer in Plymouth (phone orders only).
I plan on purchasing a set this weekend. Since they are not a supporting vendor, I will have to pm you the name and number if you are interested.
