I don't know if the Mammoth not fitting a standard KB is completely true. I am looking at adding the Mammoth Inlet to my standard inlet 2.6. The differences are the 2 rear water jacket fittings. The standard inlet fittings are vertical thus interfering with the Mammoth inlet, where as the...
I have a set of Maximum Motorsports Heavy Duty Adjustable LCA's for sale. These offer the right height adjustability, very convenient when you're trying to get that perfect right height. The only reason I am selling is because I upgraded, otherwise these are in perfect working condition, and...
Whales are very intellegent but unfortunately humans still want to neglect and destroy them as our race loves to do with any majectic creature on this planet. If you love Whales, you should watch Blackfish on Netflix if you haven't already. It's a documentary on the history of Sea World and the...
I don't know how they're going to fit so much into this movie...but it will be EPIC!
Any predictions on what heroes will die?? There have been a lot of speculations, mostly from contacts ending...but nothing in stone.
....Not quite a 9 yet, but getting closer!
I was finally able to test the car with some cooler air last Friday, unfortunately, due to a huge end of the season grudge race on Saturday, over 400 cars were there to test also so I was only able to get 2 passes in 5 hours.
First pass, I rolled...
Found out he is spraying from pictures - so my "friend" tried to slip a quick one past me. My car just ran a 10.2 on blower only, I think on spray if all things considered go well, my car is capable of 9.5-9.7 I feel like...I guess we will have to wait and see...it has been postponed until I...
I spoke to Lidio and he said he usually sets limiters to 7000rpm. Now we are thinking it was fuel scavenging that caused the car to fall on its face and cause the pops. I was below 1/4 tank, I don't think the car liked that very much.
Hey Joe,
Thanks bud! Yes, this was at US131. I'm planning on one more outing to get into the 9s, and test the spray out before hitting up the Dream Cruise. I want the car to be in tip top shape for runs to Mexico! lol
I finally made it out to the track yesterday - it was perfect, the weather was nice and there were no more than 30 cars there. This was purely a testing night for me, I have a new trans and converter which I was continuously trying to work on, and a lot of suspension and tire tweaks, but all in...
A "buddy" is pressuring me to run one of his coworkers that owns a NA 406 Cutlass. The paint job on this car is pristine which leads me to believe this guy did not go cheap on this 406. This "friend" of mine isn't giving me anymore information besides its a pump gas car on a 275 radial, and...
Considering swapping my GT front brakes to the Cobras. Before I do, I have a few questions...
1) Is it worth it? I am making over 700whp, I need to be able to stop at the track, and the GT brakes just aren't cutting it, even tho they are relatively new which leads me to my next questions...
2)...
I completely agree. I was running the KB HEX that came with my kit, it was useless. I did months of research and from what I found aside from going with a killer chiller, Gords seemed to be the best and in addition, he did some custom work to help it fit on my specific car. It was more costly in...
In comparison to something like a pulley, or e85 where you can anticipate additional power, in my opinion a HEX is more to help cooling efficiencies, it does not always claim additional numbers. Just my perception of it.
