Any secrets on changing out the accessory belt? How much "stuff" needs to be removed? Pulley bridge, crank pulley, etc?

Just recently my front & rear speakers on the driver side started having problems. When I turn my balance all the way to the left both speakers are very low compared to the passenger side. What would be the most likely cause of this? The passenger side works fine.
