took off old cams
went to put on new cams ligned up copper marks to crankshaft sprocket marks
crankshaft at 12 oclock
when i barely move it left to right it wants to touch the valves....
so i put stock cams back on and same thing. car drove fine before hand....the...
So i just put the engine back together and when i turn it over im not getting any oil pressure at all. I turned it over for about 30 seconds and even the oil filter didnt get any oil into it....any ideas? i dont want to keep turning it over for a long time and lose all the oil at the bearings...
the dyno numbers are way better than i intended, i was hoping to get around 600RWHP and put out a lot more then that!

anyone have any links for a nice budget navigator build? i just came across a free navi motor with a spun rod bearing. i'll have to replace the crank since it ruined the crank. i was wondering if anyone knows of a good thread or what not for a good budget navi NA build that puts over 400HP
i just bought a 97 cobra with a kennebell supercharger for $2500 with a blown headgasket. i was able to drop the oil pan before buying, the internals are fine.
i've always delt with NA motors, i know nothing about superchargers. what does a kenne bell boost a pump do? it also has ethanol...

so far i've got the dash frame in and welded. that took 10 hours to get it all to line up right and i have to cut and trim the dash down. also have half the wiring done under the dash now. i bought wrecked 97 cobra and im converting everything to the 88coupe...

im trying to go fast N/A, what else could i add?
will 4:10's make a bigger difference from 373?
does anyone use an aluminum flywheel? if so what is a good brand to use? also, do you have to change the harmonic balancer for an aluminum flywheel? let me konw! cant do anything else but this mod.
is there another spot i can tap into the tach besides behind the cluster? when i tap into the tach wire behind the cluster my RPM guage on the cluster stops working.

where can i find the fuses for the guage cluster? i blew a fuse by an accident but i dont see any blown fuses. i touch + and - together on the cluster so i know i blue a fuse somewhere only half the cluster lights up. where are the fuses at for the cluster? !!!
