Check the o rings on all the injectors first and see if any are torn then work your way back and see if you can find a fuel leak on the fuel rail or fue pressure regulator.
I have a manual somewhere I just have to find it but I’ll take a look at the radio wires for power.
The power it’s sourcing from has a weird blue bulb attached to the wiring as well. Bothe the ground and hot are off this little wire loom.
So I am back in the game again. Just had the cobra repainted so I am putting things back together. I had 4.30s installed incorrectly years ago and basically just stopped driving it for the last 6 years. My good friend got the rear fixed after figuring out the axle tube was bent and the gears...
Very cool and timely for me as I need to pull the cluster since the odometer stopped working. I have another issue with a failed speedcal and thought that was the reason, but after a quick bypass to make the speedometer read something I realized it and the trip odometer weren’t working.
I'm glad you got the Abbott, my SpeedCal appears to be dead and I was looking at the Dakota Digital as I heard no one offered anything else anymore. Rumor was Abbott was out of business too. How much did the Abbott cost and did you just email to order? My Speedcal was like 6 years old but the...
It only took me like 30 minutes to remove the driver side, you just gotta take your time and loosen a few things. It has been so long (over ten years) but I think the brake booster is what I loosened to get just enough clearance.
You have to be careful with running a bigger tire in the rear because if you get the size off too much from the front you will kick off the ABS. I am having that issue now and need to figure out the tire size based on what is available for an 18 inch tire. So you would need to see what's...
found them at Kaenen.com, 321-768-7986. I believe it was about $335, prices have gone up, but what hasn't and its cheaper than paying a body man to fix a much crappier product.
Good news, called and ordered my Kaenan S281 wing today so they are still in business. He said material prices keep going up just FYI, but that is like everything right now. I am happy to get something that I know looks good.
I am going to just order extra relays and find a better way to seal...
It’s been quite a while since I posted here but I’m getting my car painted. After 25 years the car is now a full pink rather than laser red. I was looking for new side markers, crystal clear versions but I’ve notice some new options like the one piece headlights. I have Depo projectors but the...
Anyone have any issues with electrical draw from the car when parked? Mine cant seem to keep a charge for at most a week. The only major change I did to the electrical system since this issue started was the Speed cal. Maybe the FRPP one is better.
I think it may come down to if a motor becomes available at the right price. F8L BYT, how long /expensive was the swap in the end, and did you do it yourself or pay a shop, I would likely do most work myself.
I have not posted or hung out around here very much in the last 3 or 4 years. I have had other priorities, but still have my car. Since that time there have been many changes in technology. I have worked over c-heads, c-head intake, and an extra block that I have been holding for like 6 years...
So the first time I ever ran my car I was trapping in the 104.5 105 mph range with 2.10.2-20 60 ft. Best run then was a 13.9. Then the next time I went out I was trapping in the 100-101 mph range with 2.10-2.20 60 ft. Only change in between that I can think of was changing over to COP...
Guys I need to figure out what my codes need to be for my Dallas speed cal.
We switched to 4.30s and have 18's with MT P305/35/R18 on the rear. Trying to get this thing to read correctly. Right now at about 10mph it read 30 mph and gets worse from there. Other than that my new built rear...
Well I'm looking at my options. It looks like I will need to replace my oil boiler and central AC one the next year. I am thinking geo will be a better bet although a tad more expensive I figure since I have to upgrade two systems it won't be that much difference and the savings over oil fuel...
I am looking at buying a home with oil heat/ boiler with baseboard heat. Anyways I am looking at what is best, I am thinking of replacing the system with a propane or maybe adding a heat pump if I replace the a.c system to use when it's not super cold. Just kind of weighing my options. The...
4.6 Ford Racing Aluminator engine
For anyone that knows enough what they are doing this could be a great deal. I don't have the experience to tell whats what and if everything is in good condition but for the price anyone in MACA might be interested . I thought I would pass it on. I was...
Ok so I just found out someone has my SS# name address and has been opening phone accounts. So far AT&T was the only one to confirm for sure that they were successful. I pulled my 3 credit reports and saw they also have inquiries from Nextel/Sprint and some company called nTelos. I am waiting to...

So my ABS is going off above 45 miles an hour. I have old MT 305/35-18 drag on the rear and a nitto 265/35-18 93 W on the front. I measured them and about 25 inches on the front and 26 and a quarter on the rear. Websites say that the MT is a 27 inch and the nittos are 25.28 diameter tire...
