That's what I do.
I watch battery, injector and fuel pump duty cycle, load, MAF counts, coolant, IC temp, spark on the X4. I also have gauges for boost and a wideband.
I'm driving it more than the Shelby. Even though the Shelby has more power, there's something about the MM suspension and FTBR IRS that makes driving the Mystichrome so much better than the Shelby. Also, that whine from the ported Eaton can't be beaten.
My only wish is that I didn't have a...
The prior owner did this to the IRS:
Full Tilt Boogie Racing FT5001 IRS Bushing Kit
FTBR FT1350M Milled Ford Racing Rear Diff Cover
FTBR FT1860 Deluxe Bumpsteer Toe Link Kit
FTBR FT1900 Adjustable Swaybar End Link
MM Rear Coilover Kit
MM Revalved Sport Series Bilstein Damper Package for IRS...
I wanted to throw a Whipple on mine but I really enjoy the pullied/ported 500rwhp stock blower. It's fun, reliable and the sound, it's real hard to switch up what's working so well.
About the refinement of the GT500, I agree. It's nice, smooth, predictable, etc. Like I said, it feels...
I have both and I really can't choose between them. I like to drive both, one after the other. I like how much smaller the Terminator feels and how "analog" it is. I have the full MM suspension on it and I like feeling the road through the steering wheel and the seats. Even though it's less...
Let me tell you the story of my Mystichromes.....
I'm on my fourth one.
The first was a convertible and I bought it back in October 2015. It had 2765 miles and bone stock. I sold it after owning it for a little over 2yrs with around 4,900 miles. I just got bored with it.
I started missing it...
Thanks but all the credit goes to the prior owner. He was very meticulous with the car, he even went as far as to disassemble and ceramic coat and powder coat parts under the car like the IRS, suspension parts, exhaust, etc.
The x pipe is from ARH, it’s the pipe with cats but the prior owner had them gutted.
The full exhaust is ceramic coated and compared to stock, the engine bay cools down faster. I’m guessing that it’s the Jet-Hot (ceramic) coating inside and outside the full exhaust.
The rest of the...
At about the same time I was buying my current GT500, the new owner of my old DIB GT500 told me he was thinking of selling my old car. I was ready to buy it back but I decided on the red one because they were both being sold at the same price and the red one had 2000 miles versus the 9000 miles...
I just want to make sure that the spark is not too high. I didn't hear any detonation but I didn't hear any detonation at 23 degrees of timing and the IAT at 148 degrees.
I want to be as safe as possible with this tune.
By the way, it's for the 04 Cobra, not the other two.
