Friend wrecked his 03, and wants to replace with tubular K member and a arms.
Which ones do you recommend?
Toofast4u what you running? Anyone else?
Also, since the search is busted coil over specs would help as well as he wants to do those too.
As I recall coil overs are the Maximum...
In case some of you aren't aware there is a gathering up north now similar to the one at the Y in Oak Hill on Saturdays.
I went this past Saturday and it was a lot of fun. There were more cars than Oak Hill, and more late models too. The drive is very far for me coming from south Austin...
This is such a great site, and I've met and talked with so many great folks here, so I hope you won't mind if I stick around and help out from time to time.
Saturday I performed a drastic mod to the Cobra...

I don't know the guy, and I'm not affiliated with any of this. I just found this link on another Mustang site and thought it was kind of interesting.

Since you can read the plate in the pics, and he's in Dallas, perhaps someone else can offer more to this story...

These tires are great.
I can use first and second gear again. The ride is better, the road noise is reduced.
They are the same size 275/40/17 as stock, but are actually a little wider. I saw them on the ground side by side with the old ones.
Highly recommend them.
You're probably all familiar with the "tick". If not do a search and you will become enlightened. For those that already are aware of the problem, have the problem, and are wondering if the replacement head TSB will solve the problem, I'll give you my impressions here.
I had the "tick" from...

Seems he wants to come up to Austin now. He's still having trouble admitting what his mods were in the first race. :)
Enjoy.
Original thread for reference...
Look at the pictures in this thread.
I heard a very loud thump tonight while accelerating in second gear on the way to the gym. VERY loud. When I got home I got under the car to look.
No fluids or anything, but I don't recall the circled portion looking this way.
It looks like the...
If you don't have subframe connectors, or like me... full matrix, you're missing out.
The car rides with much more confidence, and corners harder with less body roll.
On the highway what 70 used to feel like, is now 85. It's just much more solid and confidence inspiring.

I'm sure the next oil change will be occurring at Jiffy Lube since I'm farther away from a dealership now.
I'd rather take my own oil filter.
I'll also be changing the fuel filter.
What are the Motorcraft numbers and where do you guys buy them?
Thanks in advance.
Seriously. Is it differences in road materials?
I realize many people will say driving style, but good LORD.... I drive pretty hard every time I'm in the car.
I've got 10,200 on mine and they look almost new.
What gives?
I do that from time to time. I like to look at the pretty yellow color. :)
I pulled on the dipstick and the whole tube moved!!
I had my car in to be checked for the tick, and they left the little screw that attaches the tube to the side of the engine loose. I'm sure they had to move it...
I'm just curious how one would set up a small shot... say 30 - 50 no more.
Which kit?
Dry?
Before or after the MAF?
How do you supply the extra fuel? Is it something done to your chip tune or can you use a booster type thing. (that's the technical term I'm sure!)
