    07 with possible transmission issue?

I would check the front universal on the driveshaft.

    Clutch replacement

I was surprised when the 12 threw a code, but seems to be a somewhat common issue on clutch/flywheel replacement, with some Ford PCMs.

    Clutch replacement

Never had to do anything on the PCM in my 07. On a friends 12, we had to do a crank relearn IIRC.

    Tuning Issue - Need Info

If you are sure everything is stock, loading the stock tune will be fine. If your car has injectors, cold air, headers, pulley, etc.. the stock tune would not be correct for your hardware. If it is stock and just has a tune, a SCT programmer will simply assume your existing tune is the stock...

Watson Racing S197 MUSTANG BATTERY RELOCATION KIT

I looked into this options years ago, to move weight off the front. I did not do it because the NHRA rules required a main shut off switch on the back of the car, if the battery was in the trunk. Not sure if that has changed, in the last few years.

    Well sh*t, engine tapping

I have pulled the driver side cover, by dropping k-member vs booster removal. You are best to get the specific valve compressor tools designed for the 4V heads. If you have a lift, dropping the engine/trans is not that much work and can be done in a few hours.

    2007 GT500 Harmonic Balancer /Damper

    Better mod?

A pulley is a easy swap, E85 is a way of life. You can realize far greater potential with E85 and a built motor, but E85 has availability and range issues that will change the way you use your car. More a race car, go E85, more a street car stick with gasoline IMO. My 0.02

    2007 GT500 Maint. Done

Fuel filter is inline and is mounted under the car, on driver side, approximately under drivers seat.

    Catalyst monitor will not set?

IIRC some of the I/M tests only run at pretty low rpm, so try short shifting when you do the drive cycle(under 2,500 rpm). Car should set all monitors in 2-3 drives, if all is ok in the tune and mechanically.

    Boost Issues

Check for leaks, post MAF. Unmetered air getting into the engine would lower the boost guage among other issues.

Can I hook 700rwhp on a 18-19" drag radial at the track?

The Mickey Thompson DR(305/35/18) are what I have run for a while and they do Ok at the track. I usually hit 1.7s no problem, and have gotten down to the 1.5s on the Mickeys. I go pretty low on pressure ~13 psi. The launch is all about blending the weight transfer and throttle. I would...

    Lca options

Steeds is another option for poly lca’s and what I have run for years. I also run Steeda’s solid competition uca. This was their recommendation years ago for a part time drag racing setup.

    HEADER INSTALL AFTERMATH

The tuners are suppose to tune, not let the computer eventually adjust. Most tunes have the O2 heater and delays tweaked for headers.

Are you guys (or gals) passing inspection with a tune?

The SCT ADvantage only offers access to a portion of the overall PCM. The base tune was likely modified with Ford IDS, breaking emissions. You will never see differences with an Advantage compare(been there, done that). If you use the SCT base tune, and add your changes, you should be good...

Finally got the time to pull the motor from my Crank snout breakage

Definitely much easier to remove the engine harness from the fused block and remove the harness with the engine. It is pretty much the only way to re-install as well. These motors can be dropped out in only a few hours with a little practice. Good luck.

Here is what an ugly night at the track looks like

There is supposed to be an interference fit to the balancer, hence why a puller is needed to remove. If you ever have a balancer that comes right off, after the bolt is removed, you have issues.

    Need emissions help

If the tune is good and the car is mechanically sound should only take 1 or 2 drives with a near full tank of fuel. Lots of mail order tunes have tweaks with Ford IDS that other tuning programs will not detect. These tweaks can break emissions. The Advantage Pro base tune, with minimal...

    A Concise e85 / Methanol Pros & Cons List

I have been running E85 many years and the only real drawbacks are fuel mileage and availability. The varying grades has not been an issue for me in years, but I still test before racing. The fact that E85 is virtually knock proof is not a con IMO. I would see the addition of a second fuel...

    Mcleod RXT 1200

The video clip is short, so hard to tell if it is consistently periodic with speed, or only when you give it gas. Rear end issues(wheel bearing) or maybe interference on engine torque someplace(Exhaust).
