Just got back from the track. I made two 11 second passes tonight!!!
1st run: 11.96 at 112.16 mph with a 1.690 sixty foot
2nd run 11.95 at 112.40 mph with a 1.695 sixty foot

I was at JLP for some new mods, a tune yesterday.
I had them install a 2400 stall converter, drop shackles, and new springs
(with a little trimmed off) up front. It gives it just the right look for me.

After some winter mods (255 pumps, 60lb injectors,and WeaponX coils), I'm heading back to JLP for some new tunes.
I'm thinking of having a 2600 stall converter put in while I'm there. Hopefully I'll see some 11's this spring.:burnout:
Hey guys, removed the Whipple for the first time(it wasn't bad)
I installed 60lb injectors, Weapon-X race coil packs, changed plugs, put in a JLP polished intercooler resevoir, Optima battery,(removed battery box, and installed polished one)
I have the tank out I still need to put in the 255...
Well the fuel pumps, injectors, weapon x coils, and JLP intercooler resevoir are in. This will be my first time removing the Whipple, do you guys have any helpful hints?
Has anyone tried, or heard anything positive, or negative about the weapon X
C.O.P. system? I'm looking to upgrade from stock, and didn't know if anyone tried them yet.

For my 1st time it wasn't too bad, best run of the night was a 12.82 @ 105.
The new Mickey Thompson tires didn't spin at all, but my 60 ft sucked 1.96.
I think the truck can go faster but I need a little practice.
What can I do to get the 60 foot time lower?:shrug:

Just wondering how much boost you're seeing at WOT, and what pulley combo you're running? On a 70 degree night at WOT I can see 18 lbs with a 3.25" upper, and 5lb lower. Does this seem right?:shrug: mods are in my sig.
Hey guys, just got back from JLP, Johnny was real cool, and as always, was good to deal with. I went for a Dyno tune, but while I was there I had them put on rear QA1 shocks, a valve body for the tranny, and drive shaft safety loop. I was very happy with #'s and don't think I want to push it...

I cant wait to set it up.
On a second note, I really like dealing with JLP they have been very good to me and I have had zero problems.

I recently went to JDM and had a whipple, sbtb along with plugs, and dyno tune(pretty moderate tune from what I'm told). Put down 417/479 truck had a cat back already. What a diff. the whipple made. I'm going back 1st week in sept.
