well, Factory Five has a new Kit, 33 Coupe, designed to accept any Ford engine.

it will accept a lot of different engines, the prototype has a 4.6 DOHC as you can see in these images:
it will start selling in Jan 2009.

Getting there, today I changed the No-good (stuck) 03 GT fuel pump for an SVT Focus fuel pump, bled the brakes, added tranny fluid, topped off most fluids and took it out for a little spin:

I was reading another forum and someone made a comment that got me thinking, what would the engine to replace the current "Modular" family would look like?

I am just going to do the Passenger's side. the driver's side is really tough and I think I have to wait until I take the body off to change the damn Valve Cover on that side.
