I’ve had some drivability issues from day one. I’ve had two different tuners times it and kind of the same issues. WOT it’s great, but kind cruising and just normal driving it wants to go lean sometimes. Or cruising on the highway 60-70 sometimes if I push in the clutch to slow down it will die...
It's been a while since I've posted on here and my build has been done for a while but thinking of changing things up.
Running a TVS gen 2 at about 21-22psi. Car makes good power around 700. Right now I have a JLT Highboost cold air and an SCT BA3000 MAF. Wanting to change to a RAI and a slot...
Oh I was too and they still messed it up. I was worried because I didn't notice it until about 4 months later when I actually started getting the car together. They did ship me a new one for free though and told me to keep the old one as a paper weight.
So far I like it, to be honest I haven't driven the car much though. Which is why I was surprised the bolt was gone. Either I forgot to tighten it or the stock ones are junk. Make sure when you get it you have the correct pulley. The one in my picture above is wrong one for the cobra. It's for a...
Does anyone know the bolt/thread size of the Whipple Aux idler, where it bolts to the engine? I noticed yesterday that I have one missing somehow. I've emailed them but have a feeling they aren't going to tell me and just want to sell me the entire idler again. Pic shows bolt I'm talking about.
Recently finished the car but haven't driven it much. The other day I went for a rip and after I did a good pull I noticed my fuel pressure was high at idle and then as I'd go it would drop quite a bit under load.
Opened the hood and noticed the vacuum hose that I have t'd and routed over to...
I thought about buying one but I just got my setup done. I have a 2.6 pulley and from what I could see they didn't offer a 2.6. I did have my pulley carbonite coated and so far I don't seem to have belt slip. Haven't driven the car enough yet though.
That was my initial thought because I had things grounded and stuff to datalog. However, I unhooked everything last night and went for a test drive. About 5 minutes into the drive the gauge went to empty and never came back until I shut the car off and turned the key back on. It seems like when...
I put a new fore fuel system in the car and my gauge showed no fuel at all. Took the tank back out and found out I had messed up the sending unit. Bought a new one put it in and all worked.
While data logging and tuning the car I noticed the gauge would read fine when the key was first turned...
This isn't terminator related but wasn't sure where to post. So I've had the dual aeroforce interceptor gauges for a while. I just added the 3.5 bar map sensor for boost and hooked it up to my analog 2. I have oil pressure in analog 1.
Programmed it like the instructions say but below in the...
I tried wiring it up with the hot wire from the FPDM to the FC2 trigger and nothing. Tested voltage and at the FC2 pos and neg I get voltage. Move to the pump connections on the FC2 and I get no voltage at all.
EDIT: I ran a wire directly from the FC2 trigger to the positive battery terminal...
I'm still having issues with this. Got everything back together, spliced into these wires on the FPDM, ran power from FC2 to battery, grounded it to the metal that the FPDM is bolted to. But when I turn the key on they aren't priming and my gas gauge isn't working at all.
I'm not sure what I'm...
Thank you yes I'm an idiot. I found this page earlier but didn't see the click to go to next page where it lists the above formula I posted. Innovate support did tell me to ground each analog input grounds but make sure they're all seperated. I'm assuming that is to help with the voltage ground...
So if I'm reading all this right the equations in the SCT would be the following (V*3.008)+7.35) correct?
If the innovate is 0V = 7.35 and 5V = 22.39
(0*3.008)+7.35 = 7.35
(5*3.008)+7.35 = 22.39
Does that look like I'm on the right track with this?
Thanks I haven't yet. I Think it's fairly straight forward. From the innovate manual I take the yellow wires and hook to the SCT firewire orange and red, then I take the black and go to a common ground. I'm about 99% sure this is what I need to do. However, now I'm not sure what the voltage...
Yeah the DLG manual says to use the Yellow wires from the DLG-1 and LC-2 for the analog inputs. Then I bought the SCT firewire that says the analog inputs are Orange and red.
Thank you. I think this confused me more. Now I'm not sure if I have to set some special parameter in the x4 for the...
Yes I believe you can. Just from what I've read it's way easier if you use the computer depending on what pid's you need selected. But I need to have my wideband connected to it some how, just a little confused as to how that is wired in.
So I'm going to need to data log with me x4 and my Innovate DLG-1/LC-2 dual wideband. I've not totally sure how to hook this up. I've read and if I'm reading right this is what I need to do.
Buy a SCT firewire cable (orange and red), then I hook it up to the yellow wires on the DLG-1 and the...
