Late reply, but I've been running a F1A setup for over 3 years. 100% street driven with about 7K miles on the setup. Makes 870 through a 4R70 (was over 900 with T56) at 20psi (maxed out stock intake, waiting on motivation to install the Sullivan). I have custom blower cams and running pump E85...
I have mine mounted in the piece of pipe you see behind the trans cooler. Sorry, only pic I could find. It’s basically in the bumper cover and doesn’t blow up dust. I had one setup like yours first and it was obnoxious lol
I was talking to someone earlier and he was telling me to try the same thing about measuring boost pre and post IC. Will give that a try. FWIW my IC measures 8"X4.5"X12.5 and I too am running 3.5" piping... so I will be curious to see what it shows.
I agree on the belt slip, and I am also...
That is good info, thank you. I suppose it could be belt slip. In the past when I've had slip, the boost would drop significantly. The blower should be able to make 25+ of boost with ease, so I don't think that is the issue. I have it pullied to where it doesn't reach max blower RPM until...
I'm not sure at this point. Going to work on some cosmetic things now and will circle back around to this later lol. I didn't think I would enjoy the auto as much as I do, it is a lot of fun!
Went back last week to try again after swapping to 1300cc injectors and a 4R70 swap, made 850/745 at 6500rpm on first full pull. Second pull was to 7000 and it flatlined on power and boost after 6500. Threw a new belt on and tried again and same thing. Not sure if I have maxed out the...

I’m running the House of Boost renegade bracket with my F1A setup using 99 timing cover and Treadstone IC. Not much room left for activities that’s for sure!
Bumping this thread back up. I am running the House of Boost bracket on my 99 Cobra (6 rib accessories, 8 rib blower). I've seen mention where people move the stock radiator forward to near flush with the core support, but I don't see how they are doing it. Anybody have any insight, or even...

I had a pair of Sumitomo 315's on order, but obviously they are discontinuing them and I am just out of luck...
I'm looking for something comparable to them, and dont want any drag radials or to spend an arm and a leg on them...
Thanks,
Cody

hey guys...
My brother just bought a 99 cobra. It has high miles (118K), but still runs like a champ. It has an O/R X and flowmasters, which will be changed out really soon to probably a magnaflow catback, maybe MAC. As far as motor, he bought it with a new JLT RAI and a Diablosport Predator...
I recently purchased UPR upper and lower adjustable control arms (Part Number: # 2002-02 and Part Number: # 2001-2). My buddy and I went to install them today only to find out that my stock bolts are entirely too big for the holes on the control arms. I talked to someone there at UPR and he...
