Someone was making a headlight kit for a while but I can't remember who it was or I think why they stopped. My 3M new and a few years after sure would work easily for headlights. It's easy to take off so you could change it every couple years worst case.
I had a patent idea a couple years ago and tested all the films for which was strongest and which healed the best if something hit it.
3M was by far superior and it's also been on my car for close to 10 years now and still looks in great condition.
This has been discussed and the one sold by LFP is inferior by those who've ran it and logged. Goffin knows this. They were warped as well but supposedly "that's" been fixed.
Check eBay that's where I got my last one.
You're welcome guys. That upside down inlet picture shows how you need to break the edge going from inlet to the rotor bores. It's actually pretty important. Be careful with cutting or you'll break through.
Meh, that'll work just has to be ported and matched. You can port the daylights out of those too. If not you're costing yourself at least 15hp with that pulley combo and some rpm's for peak as it'll peak sooner.
If you don't street race with no cool down you're not overdoing anything you're at max boost pretty much proven on the track and dyno. A 6lb over a 4lb will get you a few more hp and some decent torque. Let alone it'll be instant when you stab the throttle. I ran that combo on the street and...
Crowd Control there's not enough material there to do much you'll break through and have a nice hole in the floor. You can break the edge but I wouldn't go any further.
I wonder if MethCobra knew he was quoting my dyno results lol. Yes it lost a pound of boost but we were on the dyno that morning then later that afternoon. Perfect explanation.
Porting it does nothing and my own personal lower intake had 12 hours or so in it. We checked on dyno same day testing while the car stayed strapped down. Identical hp and tq as well as boost. It was like it hadn't been touched. Maxed out Race Ported Eaton for testing with 2.9/6lb combo...
Should go 10's easy on a big n little setup with some decent cool down time. I made 16.5 lbs of boost with basically that same pulley combo on my Race Port setup with ported Dragon...
