As an engineer at work right now, I printed it and hung it on the wall. (Of course that was after having the requisite engineering reviews and safety meetings, and being signed off by everyone in the company including the person who delivered the sandwiches to the meeting.)
Cholla aren't too hard to get off with a comb. I grew up with that stuff and someone always had a comb for that purpose. The golfer in the photo looked like he fell into the damn plant.

I have an EEE PC netbook and put Mathematica on it for now. I can use it to type papers, check email, and do math as well. Once the batteries stop lasting for 4 hours I'll pick up a regular calculator again.
I'm a controls engineer *and* a student and that video hurts me on so many levels. Plus I have that same calculator.
