Bought this on Ebay and installed in 2017 to match up with a 2.3L Whipple. It drove fine accelerating but I could never get it to idle well. Coming to a stop the idle would hang around 1500rpm, plus or minus a couple hundred. I recall getting used to blipping the throttle well before stop lights...

Just commenting that mine has always shown on the dash quickly. Just went through it today actually. Not 100% sure if it's matters but the ground from the sender should be the middle hole.

I think there is a difference between modding one car vs contantly trading cars to start another build. There are 3 cars in my family. I've owned the same ones for 8, 9, and 14 years. My cobra is 9 years in the family. But I'm not normal as I don't like fancy new cars.

Not sure I understand. So your hat is meant for return and you just need to know the orb AN size of the port? You could google and measure. Probably a -6, -8, or -10 orb port.

For whatever it is worth to the OP, I paid $250 for mine on ebay. It is black annodized and engraved terminator.
I just talked to him this week. Not a bad guy but go into the call knowing the TB for their business was very problematic.
I'm having trouble getting my BF TB to idle correctly as many do. Might end up getting an Accufab. Not sure I could sell my BF on good conscious though.
Keep it stock unless you're trying to delete the pcv system. It t's behind the blower. One side goes to driver side valve cover. The other into the back of the blower (larger one).
Here it is the one I use. Plenty others if you don't like it.

I just did this and replaced the whole harness. There isn't an easy solution, sorry. There is a guy on Ebay that sells tons of these whole harnesses. What year is your cobra?
