my 2004 lightning Is seeing 11.5 to 12 pounds of boost, I have shorty headers, borla cat back, Volant cold air filter charger and Volant cold air intake, a dyno tune, and I did the boost bypass provided by RPM outlet.com

what does a Vacuum control solenoid do?? the electrical plug was unhooked on the solenoid...i have no idea what a vacuum control splenoid does...anyone???
some one told me that there was an electrical plug that you can unhook under the hood so that you dont have boost dump. is this true? and what else do i have to do to get rid of boost dump? can some one tell me where the electrical plug is....
I noticed that my VACCUME CONTAROAL SOLENOIDE was not hooked up because the guy that did my spark plugs forgot to hook it back up after he was finished with the plugs. Would that that make my truck slower or maybe make it that it would make low power and torque numbers on the dyno???
