How many lb/min is the MAF showing on a log? You can get a rough idea of engine hp by that.

Have you done any logs to see what the torque source is when its acting up? My turbo car was doing something similar. It was going into "target N" and hunting for idle. I had to raise the idle rpm error limit to fix it.

And if you're not using the sway bar you can cut the middle section out of the radiator support and it frees up a lot of space.

If it's an automatic you're gonna need a few adapter fittings and some hose to modify the factory cooler lines.
