Might be too early to tell if the weight diff of the alum block is helping 1/4 mile times of a equally modded cars. Im guessing the 11s will be right in the 550whp range with same mods. ????
Will the 11s being lighter on the front be easier to get out of the hole on drag radials than the...
Anyone thinking/doing/done this?
Worst part of the interior off any S197 Mustang from 2005-2009 IMO.:xpl:
I need them gone and the 2010s look normal and dont draw any unneeded attenion.
:pop:
I bent the drivers side at the strip back in Nov. They were not welded in and Im using the lower mounting holes. My question is that the piece that bent is not that thick and think I will try and reinforce it when I weld in the brackets this time around. Anyone done this?
These...
Read it was avail for the regular GT. Surely its an option on the 500.
Thats a nice touch and helps with the huge rear blindspot on the 500s and is helpful in the water box. ;-)
If its even true.
I have had some people tell me that I should be using the upper setting on my lower control arm reloction brackets. I have been using the lowest setting for about a year and a half and was hooking up pretty good until I folded one up because I didnt weld it in. Wondering which setting is...
Finally made it out to a prepped 1/4m and bent some stuff and gashed my fairly new 305/35 ET street with the metal lip around my fender well :cuss: Photos are the drivers side and no I did not have them welded in which may or may not have been the problem. The drivers side just folded up on me...
Time to put my MT ET Streets back on for the fall and notice they might not have ANY life left on them. From my experience if you cant see the diagonal grooves in the tread (these are radials) they are worn out. One tire you can barely see the diag grooves and the other tire you wouldnt know...
Want an easy but functional way to mount my switch. Please give me some ideas.
Going with the SLP piece instead of Granatelli just because it looks simpler to install. Any negs about the SLP kit?
Please share any ideas or experiences or rumors on the kits or the installs.
THANKS!
What exactly goes on at the Wed night event at the MB Speedway? On the Speedways website it says every Wed night is "drift and drag racing". Do they set up a 1/8 on the oval or is there a dedicated drag strip there? I wont be ale to make it to Darlington Thursday night :bored: but Wed night is...
A sway bar relocation kit and an air chisel and they went right in.
Rent-a-Rim was great to deal with and their monthly pay plans rule.
:smmon:
Just talked to MT and they have these 2 sizes coming out in Feb.
Finally another 28" drag radial option for 18"s .
I just hate the gap with 26" inch tires and my 28" Nitto 555r's just were not quite sticky enough. :poke:
Thought I would share. Happy new year
Unfortunatley not my time slip. lol
This was mentioned in the fastest 1/4 mile thread above, last week. This info was confirmed on the other site S.U.
The highlights are:
BFG drag radials, 3.73s, EVO race tune, suspension, half tank of 93 with a couple of gallons of race gas and cold...
Thought this would break the ADM, weight, rod and the other general GT500 bashing monotony.
I put this in last winter. It holds 2 amps, 2 10inch subs and my Ford fix-a-flat nice and neatly and flush. A buddy at local Stereo shop built and designed the set up for me. I didnt order the...

Excuse the poor video quality if my video link will even work.
The M6 was bad-ass, all blacked out with exhaust and a chip. The guys has been talking around town about how fast it was and somehow we called...
Not sure how many car lengths I had on him (hard to tell on vid) but it was a bunch, 1/4 mile would have been a joke.
