Pretty good deal here, not really the color combo I was looking for but not a bad looking car by any means. I might contact the owner to see if he can get me a picture of the engine and a few other pics. Thanks for posting the link!
This one is tempting but my Camaro is red and I don't really want another red car next and the miles are a little higher than I would like; I would prefer 100k or less but the price is good on it.
Pics are still up of the one in TX and it would have been a great car since it's the color combo I want- white w/red but I contacted the dealership and it's sold. I agree the one in MD looks pretty good but I really would like to have a white car and not a black one.
4rd Toys, thanks for looking this over and the others below. I really liked this car when I saw the ad but I didn't have that great of a feeling about it after looking at the pics and carfax history but I thought I would check it out in person since it is local to me. The first thing I noticed...
True, the 5.4 is a bigger engine and will make more torque but I could live with a little less torque.
Correct and I do know they are an option on the GT and what I would be looking for on a GT, I was asking if they are the same on the GT as the GT500.
I know and am fine with something higher miles. I like the looks of the '10-'12 better than the '07-'09 but might consider one of those if I see one that is too good to pass up.
Why would a 5.0 not make torque? I do know the drivetrain is stronger on the Shelbys. Are the Brembo brakes on...

I am thinking about replacing my '01 SS daily driver with a '10-'12 GT500. I will probably have to find something higher mileage, stock or close to stock, to be in my budget. I'm wondering what you guys think an average price would be for a GT500 like this?
I would prefer to buy from an...
Hello All,
I am looking to buy a daily driver 03-04 Cobra. I would prefer white, mystic or orange. Higher mileage is okay with me.
Let me know what ya got.
Thanks!
Who makes the factory pistons in the 03-04 Cobra? I always heard that they were made by Mahle and if I remember correctly that is also what they said in Iron Fist Lead Foot by John Colleti. Anybody know for sure?
I am looking to buy a Porter Cable to apply waxes, polish, etc. What model # would best suit my needs. Does it come with everything I need besides the pads? If not what else will I need? What pad would I want to use to apply paint cleaner, Red Moose Machine glaze and EX-P sealant? Where is...
I want to buy a set of MT drag radials, but I don't know what size will fit on the back of my car (275 or 295), so I wanted to see what size people were running. I plan on running a 16" rim and I was hoping to use a factory mustang wheel to save some money. Does anyone know what factory...
I tried to use the search option before this posting, but no luck. I want to know if 295/50/16 (28X11.5x16) or 315/45/16 (27X12.5X16) will fit on the back of my '04.
I am looking to run Mickey Thompson ET Street Radials and I also wanted to see what everyones opinions are on these tires are...
I finally got my car running right, that's a whole other story, so I decided I would take it to be dyno tested to check the a/f and see what my power numbers were before any more mods.
I have read that there is quite a variance in the hp output of these motors due to the fact that they were...
I am the proud owner of a 2004 Mystichrome Cobra. The clear coat has a lot of swirl and scratches in it. I think either the previous owner or car lot buffed it and screwed it up, or waxed it with a buffer that had a dirty pad. I am kind of doubting that it was buffed because when I bought the...
I am going thru all kinds of hell trying to get a re-manufactured rack for my car.
I wanted to see if an owner of an '03-'04 Cobra could help me out by turning their steering wheel all the way until it stops, then turn the steering wheel all the way to the stop on the other side and then tell...
what are the differences between the '03-'04 Cobra and GT/Mach1 steering racks?
I am going thru all kinds of hell trying to get a re-manufactured rack for my cobra; you cannot buy a new one, even from Ford. :kaboom:
The Terminator takes a different rack than the GT's and Mach1's, but I...
Just like the title says. I am hoping to find someone that has converted their '03 or '04 to manual steering. The previous owner stripped the threads out on the high pressure side of mine. :mj: I would rather not buy a rack off of a wrecked car, especially one that was hit in the front...
I am looking for a diagram of all of the power steering lines on our cars. I got mine back from the Ford dealer and they said it needs a high pressure line and the return line. I am hoping to find a diagram that shows what line is what and part numbers would also be nice if available. Thanks.
My car seems to be either misfiring or have "dead spots" at 5500 RPM. The funny thing about this is that I only feel it in 3rd gear.
Does anyone know what could be causing this?
I was thinking about getting the a/f ratio checked, but I don't understand why this problem only occurs in...
I just got my car back from the dealer for service work. The dealer listed a fault code of p-2496, does anybody know what this code is?
Before I took the car in for service I got fault code p-2196, which is bank 1 sensor 1 O2 stuck rich. They replaced the O2 sensor, I wonder if they got the...
Pretty much as the title says, I want to make sure that it is not going to hurt driving my car with this fault code. The P2196 fault code is for bank1, sensor 1 oxygen sensor stuck rich.
also will it hurt to take the car up to 6000 rpm? I have noticed a bit of a dead spot at about 5000 rpm...
