My previous career allowed me to golf daily for almost four years. I would hit a slump about once a month, but I attributed it to hitting Mizuno MP58s. After changing careers my game has suffered significantly as I only have the opportunity to play once a month now.
We don't really have anything fun in the office other than zero supervision 24/7. If the weather is decent, we'll hit some golf balls off the back porch of the dispatch office. Every now and then I'll get out in one of the older Pete's and get a good trailer inventory at the Tyson plants I deal...
We take a ton of Kohler/Sterling freight into south Florida, and during the produce off season we deadhead trucks up to Newlyweds in Cleveland, TN or Kerry/Kenco in Calhoun, GA. Even with the deadhead it still pays better than a 44k load of Niagra water from Florida.
We currently run 45 tractors and 174 trailers. So far we've been lucky with company freight and we're anywhere from 2.85-3.40 on dry vans. We have several flat and steps, but they're normally contracted through NASA or Toyota/Mazda. There's also a brokerage that runs along side our company...
Zeiss Terra ED 10x42 fall into that price range at roughly $500. I've been using them for a couple years and have no complaints. I haven't used them much in the woods since I mainly hunt coyotes over crop fields or cow pastures. They're pretty good in low light conditions as well.

Family insurance business - 13 years for me(35 overall), father had a stroke, business sold, Coca-Cola new employer. I took 2.5 years off to help my mother. Business was sold for their retirement because I hated the industry. That's about it.
