I have my Cobra insured through the National Corvette Museum. I learned about them back when I had my vette. Costs about $450/yr and I can put 6k miles a year on it. It's also insured with full coverage for the agreed upon value.
I had this exact issue on my Cobra recently. I filled and burped from the coolant crossover tube and solved all my coolant issues. I'd give that a shot first. It's cheap and just takes a little time.
I bought my Cobra recently and it had an aftermarket alarm installed. I just got under the dash and unplugged it all. Then I got a couple Ford keyfobs and programmed them to the car. Was really pretty easy.
At the moment I only plan to lower the car and maybe replace the BBK throttle body since it seems to be sticking even after I took it out and cleaned it really well.
Only other thing I want to do ASAP is get an aux port hooked up to the stock radio somehow.
Stickier rear tires are also going...
Haven’t been on the mustang forums in a long while as I owned a C5 with H/C/I full exhaust making 440 rwhp for the last three years. Before that I had a few bikes and a 99 Cobra for a long while.
I sold the vette and stumbled across an 03 Cobra with a pulley, intake, and exhaust for a good...
I got an email from Keltecpistols.com that says Kalifornia is banning the sale of ammunition on the internet and to get your order in by 1/20/11 to ensure delivery.
I haven't heard anything about this. Anyone know anything?
CAR IS SOLD
I've finally decided to sell my Cobra. Looking for $7500. I've owned it for 6 years now and I'm the second owner. Basically the reason I'm selling it is because I just don't drive it anymore. I bought a motorcycle a couple years ago which has become my fun vehicle, and last year I...
Title pretty much says it all. Bought a set of 4 from a member on here and one is bent and I have to air up the tire every few days. Just need the wheel in good condition without a tire.
EDIT: If someone is selling two I'm interested in that now as well.
I see guys all the time having to get a new clutch with only 30k miles or 60k miles. I've got 109k miles (daily driver) and I'm still on the stock clutch and it works great. I drag race and it still grabs hard.
Why do some go ka-bluey and others hold up for almost forever?
So I can't decide which way to take my car now. What I'd love to do is slap longtubes on, get a JLT CAI, and get a Nazty intake. What kinda numbers are people making with this set up? If the numbers are going to be real low (like <340rwhp) then I think I'll just go with a supercharger and forget...
Since the site won't let me search "jlt" because it's too short, does anyone have pics of where the filter sits on the CAI. I'm almost certain I want the CAI over the RAI but I daily drive the car and sometimes have to go through a few inches of water to get to my house. Thanks
Here is a thread which I'm hoping will encompass everything that is different between the 99 and 01 model years. These questions get asked frequently so I'll try to cover everything. For what I miss, just post up and I'll add it.

The exterior of the 99 and 01 models are very...
