How are your 03/04 Cobra convertible tops wearing? Do you have any "crushed" looking areas that seem to have been abraded when the top is folded down?
These small areas appear to be a lighter shade of black when viewed in certain lighting conditions. Nothing can clean or...

We don't have a forum for the next Cobra, so I posted this 4/13 Autoweek article here:
Yeah, that recently revealed Mustang GT-R is killer, but here’s a look at what we think is the next Mustang rocket for the masses, the 2006 SVT Cobra running on the new...

It is very important to know your enemy (such as Corvettes) before you meet them on the road.
So, here are a few pix for you to study and learn from... Please ignore the person blocking the view.

From tonight's get-together in Danbury, Connecticut....
Old time car show, with a special invite for our '03s....
Lots of cars, lots of talk, lots of fun.
Descriptions tomorrow.
I just received a set of ID plates from Gary in Victoria, BC. They exceeded my expectations. They're made of brushed aluminum, and fit perfectly in the engine compartment (on the black plastic radiator cover), and left of the cigarette lighter in the passenger compartment.
The fonts, text...

My '03 pulled to the right pretty badly. I wanted a few thousand miles on the suspension before having it adjusted to let it "settle in".
I also wanted to use a local aligment expert instead of the dealer's people. The local guy has years of experience with a 4 wheel alignment machine...
Here's the current '03 alignment spec from the horse's mouth today......
2003 Mustang Cobra
Alignment Specs
Front Camber -0.90 +/- 0.5 L&R
.50 side-to-side max for cross camber
Front Caster 3.20 +/- 0.75 L&R

The clear plastic shield covering the gauges is VERY EASY to scratch.... Then it looks like hell under a strong light.
Any suggestions for cleaning without scratching? And for removing scratches?

Got this from K & N yesterday....
There is no FIPK produced for the 2003 Mustand as of yet. Please check back at the end of the year for status.

My new 03's tires were all overinflated by about 4 - 5 pounds. Perhaps those experiencing some minor pulling may have uneven pressure in the tires from the factory.
Just a thought... Won't fix a drastic pulling problem.

How does the stock boost gauge function for everybody? Does it rise only when you "hit it" hard? Or does it move slightly when lightly pressing the gas pedal?
Mine only moves when I "hit it" hard. Is this "normal"?
I assume that this is an electrical guage.... Anyone know for sure...
I'm about to take delivery on my first Mustang convertible. Do those wind deflectors that mount on the front seat backs (like from Kar Kraft Engineering) really work? Are they a pain to live with (attach and remove)?
Danks,
Peter

94 + Mustang front seats have little leg room for over 6'2" (approx.) drivers. A few years ago the SCOA club (Venom newsletter) published an article that explained how to reposition the seats on their rails for an extra 2" (almost) of leg room. This truly made driving more comfortable.
