Hey everyone!
Be aware of aftermarket quadrants:
The quadrant I installed in my car had such a quick ramp that there was actually a bend in about 1/2 inch up the cable. With what can't be more than 10,000 miles, my adjustable aftermarket cable was about to break!
So back in went the...
I know, you've probably been asked this question 1,000,000 times, however I can't find it in a search, PLUS I just found this out and would like to ask.
You have a coupe (if I'm not mistaken), and I just found out that the coupes front and rear spring rates are 600. Now that I know that, why...
I remember hearing someone stating that instead of the boost coming on at 0", they changed it to come on at 5".
Can someone tell me what one has to do, to make this happen?
TIA :)
Hi! :)
In an effort to do this "on the cheap" (I'm gonna have to postpone going with a coil-over set up for now), I want to install the coupe's rear springs on my 'vert.
Here's where the fun begins: I called the dealer to get a price on the rear springs for the coupe, and he asked me what...

Seriously looking at the AFS Cobra wheels.
However I don't know the advantages (or disadvantages) of the polished over the chrome.
Should I opt for the chrome? Or the polished?
Please help?
TIA,

Hi!
I've searched, but can't really find any good pics of what the carbon fiber interior pieces looks like.
I'm lookin' for something to liven up the interior a little bit. Nothing gaudy, just some accents here and there. I've been to UPR, but they don't have any pics of an interior...
I remember some time back that someone installed a third seat belt in the back seat. I was wondering (since search is down) if someone could share some experience or pics (or both!).
TIA!
HOLE SHITE!!!
I REALLY thought everyone was just imagining a difference after changing the trans fluid. I just changed mine! <refer to first line of message>. I put in Red Line D4, at Cobra'03's suggestion.
I can NOT believe how different it feels! ...by the way, different = better...
HEY! My family and I are about to head to Virgina Beach area Monday (12/30) morning.
Anyone out that way?
You'll be able to spot us by the MO plates on the red Windstar (yea.....the Cobra will be sleeping for the week). Three kids and a 15 (?) hour drive! WooHoo! ...this'll be...
I know I've asked this question before, but: I've noticed that Saleen's have intercooler temp guages.
1. Does anyone know where they plumb in to get this?
2. Has anyone done this yet?
Okay! I saw this mentioned in another thread, but didn't see an answer. And since I didn't want to pull the thread off subject, here goes:
Will a fuel cell for the 00R fit our baby? I, for one, would LOVE to be able to put more than 16 (or is it 18?) gallons in her at a time.
Anyone...
Hi everyone!
I'm back from Springfield MO of all places! The place that happen to have 5 inches of snow on the ground this morning (Wed 12/4), on top of at least one inch of ice...and when I left about lunch time this morning it was snowing again. It DID however, give me the opportunity to...
Usually (at least I'm pretty sure) traction control systems apply the rear brakes AND THEN resort to killing cylinders when trying to keep the tires from spinning.
Does anyone know if our traction control operates this way? Or am I just on the gas too hard, forcing it start killing cylinders...
Thanks (once again!) to another fine member of this forum, I was able to get my Autometer shift light working! WOOHOO!
NOTE: If I had a chance to do it over again, I'd go with the Raptor Performance shift light, only because of the installation complexity.
