Hey man, thank you for your personal experiences and that link.
Gives me something to play with!
Do you happen to remember what the offset was on your 9.5s?
Has anyone tried the 19X10 42 offset CF5V in the front of an S197(11-2014 with Brembo specifically) without a spacer? Or any of the forgestar models in that measurement.
I've seen some mention that they might not fit without spacers due to Brembo clearance, so checking to see if anyone knows...
Thank you for the advice on the bushings. I try to keep noises to a minimum.
I agree with your conclusions. After looking around I haven't seen anyone else mention the fitment issue, so I'm guessing my kit has pieces out of spec.
I sent the requested pictures to FRPP as they requested, but...
Spoke to FRPP this morning, and he said he has never heard of a problem with these brackets. Got my calipers working, and they are about 1/16 too long compared to the factory brackets(both sides).
As I have a history of breaking things, I learned brute force isn't always the answer. So just...
I'm installing FRPP control arm relocation brackets, and the metal spacers for the original bolt locations appear to be too long to fit inside the original control arm mounting location. Of course my digital caliper died on me, but they both are about 2 9/16 inches wide. This seems to be about...
As of right now there are people ordering 2020 1LT vettes at MSRP with no markup. There are plenty of dealers with allocations left. You can refer to the list on corvetteforum for which dealers to contact.
So yes, the C8 is legitimately a 59-60k car.
It's not like it's a Mustang base either...
Probably a long shot by how tight the 1 inch Magnuson heat exchanger fits in there(and it's pushed all the way back), but do any other heat exchangers fit behind this bumper without hacking it up too much?
Mainly I don't want to cut the 2 "ribs/supports" in the lower opening.
I don't need...
Interesting, but what does it provide that the ecoboost doesn't? The ecoboost even has a significantly higher tow rating. You can even see it in the wording they used "best in class DIESEL", not "best in class".
Only thing I can think of is MPG, but if it follows normal trend of diesel...

Well it is a true 4 door car(with a large cargo area).
One group did a comparison between it and a 15-17 Mustang GT(I don't remember the year but it wasn't an 18) in the 1/4, and it was putting down almost identical times to the mustang same track/same day...slightly quicker if I remember...
KIA has really stepped up their game over the last decade. Back in 2011ish when the new Sorento was released I ended up buying one new as my DD. The interior/fit/finish was very good and the luxury options for the money was amazing.
After 5 years I traded it in with 99950 miles(100k warranty)...
Unless you are bored and need to mod right this second for enjoyment, I would save that money for the supercharger. Every day you push it back is a day of supercharged coyote you will never get back. :D
Friend has a "insert random P number here that I forget" Tesla. It actually made me interested in them for a while.
One real beef I have is that that ludicrous mode requires a ludicrous(heh) amount of preparation, can only do it for a short time then needs to cool down due to overheat, and it...
About a month, but the big verification is in the amount I've driven. Probably as much in the last month as I normally do in 3-4. It's not normally my daily driver.
Knock on wood....
Update:
Since people don't always update problems like this, thought I would.
I installed a new throttle body(accufab 84.5) and the problem has not resurfaced....and the car seems to have picked up a decent amount of power.
