You're getting a LOT of info in here. Feel free to call our office at 352 800 4407 9a-5p eastern weekdays and there won't be any miscommunication via quick emails, as you suggested.
Fwiw, I have zero issues with tuning REAL Ford SCJ monoblade. Have tuned a bunch of them. The issue is there was...
Probably the damned tune :)
Funny about the hammer and starter. Yup, a number of times.
When he contacted me I suggested all the normal stuff but also the clutch switch. Happens a lot these days as the cars age.
0300, without an accompanying 301, 302, etc to pinpoint a cylinder is more often...
It will depend. Since it's clearly tuned, if it was a Ford ProCal tuning device and tune, you should be able to overwrite it.
Some custom tunes are encrypted and cannot be written over.
In that case, we (Venomous Tuning) provide a start up file that you load onto your sct device.
You take the...
Why don't you discuss timing with Lidio. The only way you're going to make that power number on a Dynojet is either a metric ton of belt or clutch slip OR you are off by about 3 degrees of timing due to knock /high iat2, etc. More octane allows for more timing before detonation. But talk to him...
Congrats. I can address all these things with a 15 min phone call. I don't sell parts. I just know these cars very well.

You mentioned richness and timing as being the problem.
I addressed them both. Timing doesn't play a role in air/fuel but air/fuel can play a role in spark advance.
Properly reading plugs is certainly important. I supply my clients with specific instructions and pictures, giving them the...
. 77 lambda (10.8:1) based on Ford's factory stoich of 14.08 is most definitely not rich enough to hurt anything. Is it optimal? No. But it IS leaner than than when the car goes into enrichment for temps, specifically cats and other exhaust components.
. 80-.81 is a more normal commanded lambda...
Call your tuning company of choice and talk to them about it. They don't sell parts so they have no "number" agenda and what they tell you won't be a guess.

Just log it. You have our instructions. Then look at your timing. Is it less than commanded?
EGR issues will be a problem for you because we tune with it on and fully operational.
It "could" cause timing to be pulled, or not. The log won't lie.
Had a customer tell me his car felt like was...
14.67 for gas and that is what aftermarket and dyno widebands are calibrated to.
Ford sets stoich at 14.08 and I leave it there. That's the value for e10.

Your air fuel ratio will be pegged full lean on coast. The injectors are off.
As for 11's, they likely have commanded afr at wide open throttle at
. 79 or
.80 lambda
79 or 80 percent of the stoichiometry of your fuel, which is 14.08 (to 1).
.80 x 14.08 is low 11s

Put the stock throttle body back on the car and see if the problems go away.
Return to stock first. Swap to stock. Reload the custom tune you are running.
