I often feel my ported/pullied ‘03 was more fun than any of my S-197 GT500’s including my two 14’s. However the 13/14 is a more refined car for sure. I’d like to pick up another 10th anniversary ‘03 and still keep my ‘14.
I stumbled on this company not too long ago. I haven’t personally seen their product, but very intriguing seeing as though NOS Recaro seat covers are $1500+ PER COVER (upper/lower)...
That ‘10 with the 2.3 TVS, 3.55’s and different 6060 gears is a blast. Had an ‘09 with 645rwhp and it felt much more edgier than my stock ‘14’s.
Op, that’s got the iron block too. Less anxiety when thinking of potential rebuilds down the road since all the aluminum blocks are considered...
Just to add to the conversation about prices/availability etc. I sold my ‘14 fully optioned glass roof car w/35k on the clock in January for $48k. I absolutely cannot but that car for that price now.
Back in the market, and am getting ready to sign papers for a ‘14 fully optioned coupe minus...
Thanks. Love a DIB, but not with the red stripes. Thanks for trying to make the connection.
Now that you have your Mach 1, what’s your take on that vs the 13/14?
I’m curious too. I just sold my ‘14 GT500 and already have sellers remorse. Already back in the market for another Mustang. Looking for a low mileage S197 13/14 or a 21/22 Mach 1 performance pack.
Totally get it. I've let a lot of valuable Mustangs (and other cars) go over the years. Miss quite a few of them. For me personally, it's a matter of simplifying and looking at what the money can do for me elsewhere.
Thats always the struggle!
She’s a Chevy girl, so she loves it. She works from home, so I get to drive it quite a bit. The ‘14 feels way more powerful and surprisingly the ride is a bit softer than the ZL1 (track pack vs Mag shocks).
With the A10 you can tell it soaks up some power as any auto does, so it does not feel...
I literally just bought the same car. 2018 ZL1 A10 Hyper blue metallic as the OP. Currently also have a 2014 GT500. And to answer your question: NOPE, the visibility reputation these have is unwarranted in my opinion. VERY quickly got used to the taller belt line. B and C pillars aren’t as bad...
Haven’t read through this whole thread yet. But I was originally a Chevy guy. As a teen had my eye set on a black on black ‘91 Z28. Day I went to buy it, it sold. Bummed out, I went down the street and bought a ‘91 LX 5.0 hatch.
13 Mustangs later, and I’m still a Camaro fan. So much so I just...
Interesting update on Helios. So as some of you know, I bought some AM 20X10's for the rear and sent them to Helios (just two wheels). Match came back almost perfect. Just a hair more silver, but the clear was the same low gloss.
I decided to buy a front set of 20" AM wheels to match and just...
