2003 Ford Mustang Cobra convertible in Redfire metallic with dark gray leather and suede interior, black top. 49,000 miles. 3rd owner has owned the car since 2005. Adult owned it's whole life, never taken down the track.
Unmolested car. Car starts, runs, drives like new. Everything works...
Title says it all.
I have a tube to put in and it goes just in (about an inch) and then stops.
Is that something solid and I need a smaller tube, or is it a part that moves, and the eaton needs to be turned a bit to get the tube to go in?
Thanks.
What did the Terminators come from the factory with, clear or smoked headlight covers?
Were they basically the same as a regular Mustang or did they have a slight tint to them?
TIA.
Hey guys,
I just got one and looking through the instructions I am good until instruction #17. :read:
It "tries" to show where to connect the front straps to, but its got me baffled. :??:
What do the front straps hook on?
If you could post a quick pic, that would be awesome...
I have been reading for quite some time and was going to get a JLT, but I keep reading others say to avoid rain if you put on the JLT.
I drive my Cobra in all weather including winter as my daily driver (snow, sleet, rain are common in Michigan). Is a JLT out of the question for me?
If...
The car comes to a complete stop. Is not moving.
1 1/2 seconds later, I hear a clunk that sounds like it is coming out of the right front.
Nothing is moving, not even lurching. This is with an easy stop.
Sounds like a bunch of books falling, lol.
Any ideas? Weird.
A portion of someone's description of their 2000 Trans Am WS6. Is this reasonable for HP or BS based on the description?
Those got replaced about the same time I bought a new cam and then I was near the 400 club without a tune. A tune and some injectors and I was at 400+. Now she's making...
I know the MGW shifter has been talked to death, but my search didn't really touch on the question I have.
My biggest problem is not upshifting and finding the right gear but down shifting.
Does the MGW do any better in helping to find, say 3rd gear, when your running in 6th?
Thanks much.
Yesterday, for the second time (first barely noticable), the gas pedal stuck to the floor. I was entering a highway (fellow ahead would not enter the highway (70mph) above 45 mph, so I went to go around him and it stuck. Didn't notice till I went to shift and the revs when through the roof...
I was looking at Avon M550 A/S for all season, but these Pirelli's are available locally and have nice numbers at Tirerack.

Anyone with experience with these tires.
Thanks
Hey, I would like to see anyones pics of 99-04 Mustangs (Cobra's, GT's, etc) CONVERTIBLES with stripes. Big or little stripes, hood or side. Anything you got.
Please! :)
THANKS!!
The clutch on the 03 Cobra I have had a month seems to engage right at the bottom of the clutch travel (as soon as I lift a little, I start moving). Is this proper?
Or would it be better to have it engage half way up the travel?
Is it adjustable?
Wondering if I am going to put a lot...
I have already posted to several threads and asked several questions that I am gratefull for the reponses. Thank you and Hello.
From Mid-Michigan. Have had a 00 GT for the last 2 years and decided to go for what I really wanted, an 03 Cobra vert. As I write, it is still in the shop getting...
I am a recent Cobra purchaser. There is no authorized Cobra dealer here in the Lansing area. I have three options for a dealer, which do you suggest?
Krug Hilltop in Howell,
Brighton Ford in Brighton,
Keller Ford in Grand Rapids.
Thanks for your input.

I know this is an unusual question for this site, but I am using my 03 Cobra Convt. as a daily driver up here in Michigan.
I need a good all season tire (some light snow driving) on my 17x9 rims. I really don't want the cost, storage and such of owning two sets of tires and switching back...
