I've got a 2.8H that I'll sell for $3000. been sitting on my bench, covered for awhile. it was bought from a friend of mine and was sent to KB for a refresh and not installed since. Its got a polished Accufab throttle body on it also. it was owned by Antex originally and he used it for one...
I'm still alive. I rarely check here. Still have the '03 Cobra with 14K miles on it. It hasn't seen much life out of the garage in years. Still have the '95R also. I have been tracking my '90 GT on the road course for 7-8 years now and added a 2012 GT for open track duty a couple years ago...
Posting here because I figure I'll have to drive for these parts and trying to stay within my region. I need the following body parts for my 2012 GT
hood
both front fenders
front bumper cover
grille
headlights
radiator
pretty much all the brackets and hardware for the front end.
Basically...
Actually I just got an update on my phone this morning that said Facebook use in the U.S. is starting to fall off. I knew it would Greg. I have been telling you the same about bell bottom jeans for years.
Well now we know you can track them I expect to see you at an event at some point.
I'll be at Dominion next weekend. Hopefully the rain will be gone by then.
Livernois is a good choice for tuner. Make sure you get the colder plugs when you get the tune.
I have a bunch of Steeda stuff...
I had a similar problem on my foxbody when I installed an MSD 6 box. Car ran like crap. Put the stock stuff back on and still racing it on the road course today. I won't by and MSD ignition anything for any car.
Those are cool Greg. I'd like to have one myself but Denise wants something more European, and an SUV. So we are looking at Audi Q3/5, BMW X2, Maybe the new Alfa Romeo which is my favorite.
You have to at least do a tune on that Fusion. Tunes on these turbo cars really wake them up. Plus...
What's up Ken?
Did you sell it. I'll help spread the word if it's still available. I don't get on here much myself. Not the same activity as the early Cobra days. Still have the Cobra though, both of them. Don't plan on getting rid of them anytime soon. I'll have to stop and visit one...
I have a set of barely used single adjustable Koni's and Maximum Motorsport springs I'd like to sell if you're interested.
I would guess it would be fine on the street. I can say that I used it twice on the road course and it was to soft. My mistake for not going to a coil over setup for my...
Not even close to driving on a track. I'll pass on a cruise. I've done both and OT driving is way more fun. Not that I don't like hanging with my fellow car buds but I'd rather do it after a day of 10/10 driving.
I'm game for this. Best central east coast venue would be VIR. Great track and accommodations. Good luck booking that track for this year. Better contact them soon. A September or October event would be good. Not to hot or cold.
Summit Point Main would be good. NJ has a nice track as well.
Get some E track and run across the front wall about 1.5'-2.0 high. You can line your items across the front wall and then put a strap or bungees across them attached to the E track and they will stay in place. You can also use it to hold in place other items. Like
fold out chairs
pop up...
I like the first and third wheel pic Bob. I also have painted some of my track Mustang wheels with the matte black spray can paint from Advance Auto. If you do a good prep job they actually come out real nice. I had to do a repair job on my wifes 2016 Fusion black wheel. I would have to show...
I'll check it out. If there are any other options please post. I know I can get some nice options if I spend over $300 per wheel but these wheels are probably not going to stay in perfect condition. With running open track, one off track excursion and rocks and dirt could make my wheels look...
I am looking to run a square tire set up all the way around on my 2012 GT. I run road courses and currently plan to run 285/30/18s all around. I'm looking for a reasonably priced wheel that is not to heavy in 18x9.5 or 10. I'm fairly new to the newer Mustang so could use some help in being...
I keep my 95 R in the home garage
no cost.
I do have 2 car trailers that I keep my track cars in and keep those on a storage lot. Costs me about $115 a month for 2 car trailers.
I have this same exhaust on my '03 with long tubes and an off road H pipe. Has a very mild sound at idle and while cruising and sounds great when wide open throttle. If it was within a couple hour drive I would buy it in case mine was to wear out. I don't think anyone else even makes a...
Can't answer whether you can use the ceramic pads on the stock rotors or not. I would guess you could. The factory rotors are nothing exotic.
Any EBC pads I have used have a material on them that is designed to sand/remove any other brand pad material from the rotor.
Ceramic pads of any type...
I have both and am glad I don't have to choose one over the other. You'll have to drive both and figure out what will work best for you. The handling and braking is going to be way better in the 2012 if it has the track pack. It is more technologically advanced and the suspension is a design...
