On the brakes at the 1/8th and she still goes 8.8's! (License pass)
That's what a 1.21 60 will do!
Previous best with the 17x10.5 Welds with 305/45 MT ET Street R's was 1.30
New setup is 15x11.5 Bogarts with 275/60 MT Pro Bracket Radials using the Prototype AED knuckles that allow a proper...
Only had 2 passes last night, spun horribly on one run and turned things down on launch to get some data. Ended up running a number no one else has done on a non-built coyote.
Launched on less than 7psi so the 60 has room for improvement, and we're still getting the hang of the setup. Need...
With some better DA and a good track at Sacramento Raceway we were able to get a New best ET of 10.18, a new best MPH of 135.84, and new Best 60ft of 1.382!
Changes made since last outing of 10.26:
Strange Double adjustable rear shocks.
Check out the video and timeslips:
2014GT with Whipple 2.3L on E85.
Previously put down 670RWHP SAE with the 3.125" blower pulley and stock cams.
With the 3.0" blower pulley and L&M Intake ONLY cams it put down 763RWHP SAE. That's a gain of 93HP from 1psi boost and $850 intake cams from L&M Racing!
Worked out a few bugs from the last time out and netted a new best in better DA:
The MPH surprised me and was up on the 1/8th by 1+ over the previous outing.
Full bolt on car, ALL MOTOR (stock motor) ran consistent 10.30's today:
That is actually the slowest pass of the day. She went 10.31 @133MPH in 1300 DA.
Recently SCT has added a few parameters and we finished testing them on the dyno yesterday.
The result is we can now tune for up to 8400RPM without VCT reverting back to 0/0.
AED has an update for any customer with the SCJ/Boss setup that wishes to shift at 8K+. We are setting a 'soft' rev...
Although the DA was not as good as it's been, I still managed a new best in the 2016 Project car. No video's though, we were busy with customer cars getting ready for a race.
Car is a full bolt on 2016 A6:

I purchased a Whipple Monoblade so we could start supporting that TB on the Coyote platform, and hoped it would not suffer from the issues we see with the FRPP version.
The whipple unit came in without electronics so we purchased a new GT500 TB and gutted it for use on the Whipple. This makes...

FRPP MonoBlade
JLT CAI
Full exhaust
Pump 91 octane
We took a customers 2012 GT to the track for testing and sorting out any bugs before the customer picks it up. Ended up running 8's with a few minor tweaks!
The owner is a Paralyzed vet and drives this car with Hand controls. T-brake, 2-step, and Chute along with steering and gas all by hand...
SCJ FTW!
Track gains back up the dyno gains.
Yes, the DA was better today with the SCJ, but even corrected the SCJ performed better than the GT350 (as expected).
11.03 @124 SCJ > 11.22 @122 GT350 (All else aside from weather the same!)
Test car is AED's in house 2016 A6 project car.
All testing done on the same day with 91 octane CA pump gas. TiVCT was maximized for each manifold but ignition timing was not touched.
Track times coming soon! (weather permiting)

Finished up full bolt on's with the 16A6 project car and headed to SacRaceway for some shake down runs.
We had traction issues due to running a new tire setup (DR learning curve, I'm a slicks kind of guy) and a lack of track prep but still netted a few 1.60 60fts which is OK.
We spent some...
I just installed full exhaust on my 2016 A6.
Even though I was very confident the exhaust was not going to rattle as I take extra care due to seeing as much false knock as I do with customers I busted out the handy mallet and double checked my work anyway.
Below is a video of what I found...
Rear o2 sensors, do we *need* them?
The answer to this requires a bit of education on the O2 system in these Fords.
Most people know the Rear o2's are used to detect proper catalyst functions (o2 saturation rates from the catalyst), but many do not know they are used for something far more...
31 drag strip passes on these tires. More than 80% tread left. 3 months old.
Swapping to DR's on this car.
Tread depth marks:
$300 for the pair.

The test car is my personal 16 A6 and it is bone STOCK aside from the Tune.
I ran the car back to back to back on the dyno before the IM swap to validate the before power numbers. Numbers were a little higher than previously tested but I have changed the wheels/tires and they are 16+lbs lighter...
Finally we have more 1/4 window stickers!
There's a slight change from previous batches to solid lettering for easier installation/durability.
We have them in White, Silver, and Black and a few of some black & white cammo with white outline our sticker guy threw in.
Any customer who wants a...
