The tires are 275/35-19 (front) and 295/35-19 (rear). I do not know the offsets as CCW handled that when I ordered them. If I get some time, I can certainly do some measurements...
Understandable. Shipping sucks for us normal folks. I can't figure out how Tirerack/Discount Tire/etc. can do "free shipping" economically when it cost us a ton.
When my Alcoas were shipped to me, they were ~$350 w/ insurance. FedEx and UPS were the same cost. I have those boxes still, but would need to have the tires removed. Not sure what the best method is to ship wheels and tires.
Thanks. Nothing compares to highly polished aluminum, but in Michigan keeping them polished was impossible (even with summer/nice weather only driving). I tried all the various seals/waxes/etc. and nothing kept them from getting spots. I had them machine polished and clear powder-coated, so...
Set of 4 CCW SP500 Wheels in 19x9.5 and 19x11 w/ BFG KDW2 tires (tires have tread, but they are pretty old)
These are polished and powder-coated clear so they are very easy to maintain.
No chips, dings, gouges, etc.
Includes Ford TPMS sensors.
They looked great on my 2008 GT500 which has been...
I have a 2008 as well. Does the strut brace not fit because of hitting the blower, the CAI, or something else?
I would also plan to run pump gas, so is the 3R not the right route?
I had the opportunity to drive a 2020 GT350R to the Upper Peninsula this last week, and I can definitely say the SC2s have great grip, but they absolutely sucked in rain (on an R anyway). I had to put the R in "Slippery" mode and baby the throttle else I was skating. Ambient temp was about...
Being 20", would these be 275/30 and 295/30? The 295/30 rear is pretty much the same diameter as the stock rears were. If 35s, would the diameter increase cause any issues? I am running the full FRPP Handling Pack.
Thanks for all the suggestions!
I picked up a set of 20" Alcoas, so what sizes are people running without widening? To keep the same diameter as stock (or close) would be 255/35 and 295/30...but wanted to see what everyone else is running. I think the Super Snakes came with 255 and 275s...
Thanks for the recommendations! I checked out Toyo and only the Proxes Sport come in the right size. Michelin's are available in the Pilot Super Sport, and Pilot Sport Cup 2. Would 20" wheels have more options that fit? Not that I want to thrift the CCWs but I didn't realize tire choices...
Thanks for the suggestions, I'll be sure to check them out.
I don't suppose any of these aftermarket units will interface with the existing Sat Antenna would they? Otherwise, I'm wondering what to do with the puck on the trunk and where to put another one if need be (or I would probably just...
So, the factory Nav headunit in my '08 GT500 'Vert is getting tired. I've looked around and haven't seen too many updated threads on headunit swaps. Any modern units worth looking at? I see the Raxiom model that American Muscle has, but not sure how good it is.
Thoughts/suggestions...
I have a 2008 GT500 'Vert with 19" CCWs and my KDW's need replacing. Being that those aren't available any longer in 19"....any recommendations on good summer/perf. tires? My current sizes are 275/35ZR19 and 295/35ZR19. I'm guessing Nitto is popular, maybe Pirelli?
I'm also wondering if...
I'm looking to have my cam/coil covers replaced in my 2008 GT500 with a powdercoated/polished set and while it is in the shop I was looking to have some gauges installed.
I have the Shelby Gauge Pod (without holes) for the center of the dash like the SS and other models use. I know Shelby...
As the 123mm Cobra Jet CAI kit for the 5.4L seems to be no longer available, is there a way to 'create' the same thing by getting the 123mm MAF, filter element (both of which are still available) and retrofit the FRPP 113mm CAI tube and/or tub?
If not, is there some other way to use the MAF...
I've dismounted my CCW's so I can get them repolished/coated. I've removed the TPMS band/sensor, valve stems, etc. What I can't seem to figure out is how to get the center caps out! Are they just pounded in, or some other means that I am not understanding?
I tried tapping them out and...
