A local sheriff was on a talk show a few days ago and made that statement that "any exhaust mdofications that increse the noise are illegal". Is this the case? Then are most aftermarket companies selling performance exhaust selling us illegal products?

Are there any Northern California/Western Nevada organizations that specialize in SVT vehicles out there. I think the Northern California Branch of the SVT Owners' Association has shut down. Their web site has not been updated since 2005!
