Is there anyone in here that has mill their head much? What issues did you have? -I just sent my Cyl. heads to the porter and I'm contemplating how much to have them mill the cylinder heads. -It looks like there is going to be an issue with the VCT solenoid alignment and some with the intake...

New Build HCI and New Forged Bottom End--Pic Heavy

My 2012 Coyote Build I'll try to detail my build a little bit on here and add key points to the post. Previous mods, track times and dyno numbers. At AED's dyno in CA the car put down 466RWHP on 91 Oct. But I normally run the car on E85 and now have a better flowing exhaust, so I would...

    Ring Gap

I have some Mahle pistons which included rings. The first ring gap was able to be filed to .021 and the second compression ring was dropped in and measured. Straight out of the box the 2nd ring measured a gap of .030. I called Mahle and he said that was normal and designed that way, which seems...

    New Engine and Compression

I'm trying to decide what static compression to build my motor to. I always have the car on pump E85 and have a virgin block at the machine shop about to be built. I've got Mahle pistons with 3cc domes. With the factory deck height and cyl. head chambers it will be about a 11.2:1 compression. I...

Help!! My 60ft time is 1.9-2.0

At the track I'm running 13 psi in the tires and I've tried long burnouts and short burn outs. I've played with the rpms and just can't get the car to 60 ft well. It's only cutting 1.9-2.0 60ft's and rarely a 1.8something. I tried lunching off the nirtrous and it does help with spinning...

Location of nitrous jet, why are we jetting at the nozzle or plate? Is there a reason for it? Why don't we jet at the solenoid, jetting at the solenoid makes more sense to me.

I've ran a Cj intake and Cams for awhile now and I'm ready to take the car to the next level. N20 is the next obvious step. (Then Paxton or Turbos and possible a new motor in 2017-2018.) I have acquired a wet shot plate kit for this intermediate period. Size: I'm trying to decide if I...

I'm getting a 100-150 shot plate kit setup on my car and run E85. I need a bap and I'm leaning towards the VMP one. What are you guys using for your N20 setups what are the pros and cons to the VMP unit? I heard they burn up fuel pumps, but I'm not sure if there is any truth to this.

    2015-2016 M3 with a Temp tag

Coming back from the grocery story I ran into a brand new 2015-2016 M3, the car still had the temp tag glued to the back window. Not expecting him to play I took off normally.
