well last night i traded the L in for a 2006 dodge ram 1500. I needed something for the family and dodge had the best rebates. so far i love the truck. didnt think i would ever drive a dodge though so its going to take some getting used to. it was sad to drive away from the L. but the family...
Red in color. 51000 on truck, 9000 on motor. has 6# lower, accufab sbtb, ftvb, k&n fipk kit, predator, ngk tr6s, panasonic mp3/cd deck, sony x-plode 1000 w amp with 2 10" rockford subs. only used mobil 1 synthetic, and changed every 3000, fuel filter changed every 6000, tranny fluid was replaced...
well guys im going to have to sell the L soon. i have one child and now have another on the way and the reg cab just wont cut it anymore. ill be sorry to see her go but i guess we all have to make sacrifices along the line. looks like im going to go 3/4 ton crew cab diesel next. wont be as fun. :(

Im going to the dyno on saturday(unfortunantly not for tuning). What do you guys think my numbers will be? anything i should do pre pull to protect the motor? i have to run the predator 91 octane tune since i dont have a custom tune yet but cant quite afford a dyno tune right now. TIA.

I have a viper 771XV and it seems like it has lost sensitivity and i cant figure out how to change it. When i first bought it, if i tapped it it would go off and now i can give it a good smack and it doesnt even act like its armed. any help would be nice. thanks.

Hey guys. so this has gone on since i bought the truck so it was on my old motor and my new one. on a cold start or even just when its been about an hour or so since the last start, the truck doesnt want to start right away. then when it does start, it sounds like it starts with about 1 or 2...

...what the stock timing/spark advance should be? i think mine is off by the way it runs, starts sometimes but i dont know what it should be stock. also with my mods what should i be at as far as my tune? i just use a pred tune for now so i can adjust it myself. thanks

so i got a code again yesterday, 1401 differential pressure feedback circuit high input. anyone know what this means or have this happen before? i got it last fri. at the track and i cleared it and then it came back yesterday. thanks

... and on my first run of the night i got pretty good traction and was able to pull a 8.49. this much better than my personal best of 8.7 so im happy. i made quite a few more runs and most were in the 8.5 range. started losing traction the more i went.

hey guys will i lose any power by taking my rear cats off and leaving my front ones stock. i know this will decrease backpressure but im unsure of the consequences on these trucks. i want to eliminate my rear cats and get some more sound out of my maggy system but not at the expense of any...

i replaced my plugs yesterday and now when i start it it starts normal and revs down to about 950rpms and sways about 20rpms or so, then it revs down to about 650 and is a little rough, then back to 950 but then it starts swaying more. what can cause this? my tps is reading .99 and my spark...
hey, so im removing the blower today to clean everything up and change my plugs, and i was wondering how everyone felt about reusing the gaskets. ive searched and found many mixed emotions about it so i figure ill just get a last hoorahh for the idea. thanks
