I wanted to get away from the black on chrome theme for a while now (has gotten way too popular), and seeing as my stupidity caused me to find a curb at a drive through, I figured it would be a good excuse to get the lip powder coated. Red: Blue: Black: Chrome (the way it is right now):

The two main detailed cars are a 94 Taurus SHO and a 2000 Mustang GT. They are both buffed with a porter cable and LC pads. We used Poorboys SSR1 with a white pad followed with Klearcote Machine glaze on blue and topped with Klearcote Vanilla Moose Wax on black.

Anyone have any success at squeezing a 28" tire under a solid axle new-edge with lowering springs? I got my hands on a set of 28" tall slicks for this weekend but I don't know if they'll fit under my 2000 GT with H&R Sport Springs. Also, how far would they stretch at higher MPH?

What are the prices for either a BFGoodrich Drag radial (the solid stripe one) or a Mickey Thompson drag radial. Also, what tire size would you reccomend for a 15x3.5 rim that will see cruises to and from the track (so something that will still be safe on the street).

What's the story behind them? Are they a good reliable wheel for the track or should I spend 3x the money on a Weld? I was looking for some big and littles that I can get for my mustang and noticed that AR wheels are considerably cheaper than any other wheel I have come up against, and...

I need to buy a set of rims that will clear the Cobra R brake kit, and will mount a 245/45/17 tire without a problem. It doesn't matter if they have curb damage as long as they are straight, will hold air, and won't fall apart.

Which would you guys choose for a black 00 mustang gt? I have my heart set on black on chrome FR500 rims (deep dish in the back, ofcourse). I just can't decide which would look better, 17" with 315's or 18" with 285's in the back. Any opinions? These are the rims btw:

I acquired a 01-04 bodystyle spoiler. The color is black and has no chips and no scratches on the trunk lid, but it does have a few small scratches on the spoiler that you have to look REALLY closely to see. I'm located in 60187 if anyone is interested for pickup. Any bids?
