What are the differences between the 2011-12 5.4 aluminum block and the 2013-14 5.8 aluminum block besides the obvious displacement difference? Does the 2011-12 have traditional cylinder liners?

I am considering a FRPP short block with JDM cams and a KB 4.2 on E85. I would love a 5.8 Aluminum custom built short block but money is an object. I want like to make 1000rwhp. Is this just too much for the FRPP short block? What are your thoughts?

I entered my GT500 in the Autorama this weekend thought I would share some pics of the car.

Anyone know how to get these colored lines off new tires? The car is in a big indoor show in two weeks (Autorama) and I will not be able to drive the car before then to wear the lines off. I have tried everything in my arsenal and they wont come off!

My SPP alternator came in yesterday thought you might like to see it I thought it was interesting that it comes with a 2 3/4" pulley when the stocker is 2 1/2". Which is nice to slow down the alternator for less drag and easier on it at higher revs.
