I haven’t been around much but, man it’s a little depressing that the most active thread in here is a pointless inflammatory one started by a complete troll.
I have met some very cool real people here over the years. We can do better than this. The Gt350 is and will likely continue to be the...
Man, there's a lot going on here! . . . 13 years of going to the temple with my wife and I still can't read 2 words of Hebrew :)
Oh, and I'm a bit torn about the production extension. Great in general but not great for depreciation.
I started making offers well over a year ago and have a close Ford dealer friend who finally claims to have my order allocation in. No car yet even with a fairly modest ADM agreed upon. It's totally crazy! Logic and Cobra R history would say they'll be discounted and depreciated in less than...
Been awhile, but I am cleaning out the garage. So far, I've noticed the following items that need to find a new home:
2000R Passenger Seat, very good/excellent condition, $950
Set of 1995 Cobra R replacement rubber radiator hoses, new $150
SCT chip, 1995R $25
A couple alternators...
First, I'm guessing the first pic show what was formerly an air inlet temp sensor?
The second pic question is: to what the two wires were originally connected? (located near the driver's side forward corner near headlight)
YouTube - NASA at Homestead 12-14-08...
Guys, I've tried every which way to get my Actron CP9145 to interface with the R. It has the OBD II type port, but I can't get it to read anything other than a "connection error" no matter what vehicle I select (i.e. - V8 mustang 94, 95, 96, 5.8L HO F150 etc.) Of course, the 5.8 does not show by...
Anyone have a number? I ordered one but it doesn't fit. The mounting bosses are welded, but look OEM. I'll post a photo later so one of you guys can verify it.
Also wondering about an aftermarket idler pulley and underdrive alternator pulley source . . .

Can someone shoot me the overall height off of the trunk on the stock 00R wing as well as the width? I'm planning to put one on my 95R for race use but there seem to be aftermarket versions of varying height.
Any other issues with doing this would be good to hear as well.
Thanks,
Bruce
I'm guessing this must be about the last 95R (or 93 or 2000) built to compete in club type racing? Someone else started it, now I'm finishing it.
She's almost ready for NASA Sebring in October. I had it out to Homestead for a track day shakedown in August after a bit of a rough time at...
The 95R has shed some parts as it grows into a race car. While I thought I'd probably keep the stuff, I've discovered my garage is overrun with mustang parts and someone else will surely put them to better use.
I'll put this out here first before I ebay it in case someone here...
Check the cover of "Modified Mustangs" Febuary issue for a feature of Scott Shafer's 2007S197 track/work car. I've actually seen him drive it to work too! Kinda like an 07 Cobra R with a touch of practicality, right Scott?
Well, I accepted the money so it's official: no more 00R for now. Of course, seller's remorse is present even before the transporter arrives.
I've met many of you guys at the track and had a great time. Of course, you won't get rid of me entirely; I fully intend to continue to...
By virtue of a towing incident where the car was strapped by the tire, I bent a tie rod for the IRS in the 00R. Same part as an 03/04 Cobra. Does anyone have a good one to sell me - I just need the long threaded rod.

Hey Fred,
Quick question: how did you run your cooling ducts with the SLA setup? Fortunately or unfortunately, my 88 LX has the SLA system that you've given up on. I'd like to get the car on track at least once this year for nostalgia's sake but I'd like to run some cooling ducts. Just...
I just glanced at the instructions for my new AMB Transponder I picked up from On-Track Performance. I have some time to do the work, but I won't be at a NASA or other event to see where everyone mounts these things. What's the easy answer?

I suppose they aren't so special now that the "improved" version is a catalog item. Don't suppose anyone here has magnafluxed them or checked them for straightness?
