So what did you do? Here they are mounted with 0.8" spacing with 275/40/17 R888 tires. I moved the spring perch all the way down so i can manipulate the wheel travel and articulation. This is pushed up as far as I can go before it starts coming off the jack stand. I included some photos of it.

You are right that it won't actually build oil pressure. I've noticed that on my oil pressure gauge on my cobra. It won't actually even build any pressure but if it can circulate some oil so the vital parts at least have some oil on them topically then that will have to do.

Is the cam position sensor easy to find? I haven't looked under the hood in a while and I can't even remember which bank its on.
