Nothing that shipping couldn't fix. I'd be happy to supply any pictures or video of the car requested and work with any shipping company that you arrange. But I also understand the desire to see cars in person before taking that plunge.
I'm selling my 1997 Mustang Cobra. It has a 4.6L DOHC V8 and 5 speed manual transmission. This is a car for the enthusiast, not one for someone looking for some cheap fun. This is very well taken care of Cobra with low miles (76k) and a lot of tasteful and purposeful modifications.
I've...
I've got a really nice Pacific Green Cobra I'm looking to part with. Excellent condition, 76k miles, mildly modded (suspension/IRS/full exhaust/wheels/tires). No supercharger, but for my price, you'll have plenty left over to buy one.
$8,500 firm.

Yes, in Kansas. Shipping is always an option if you strike out elsewhere. Finding these cars clean is becoming very difficult. I actually had this one shipped to me because all of the local ones were in bad shape.
Here's my build thread. I started with a bone stock car and did some (mostly)...
I did shorties and motor mounts without dropping the K (stock K member). I will never do that again without dropping the K. And that was with FRPP shorties. I'm sure long tubes would be even worse.
Definitely try this. The idea is that after it sits, the pressure bleeds down and on first crank, it doesn't build enough during the first prime to start. Priming it multiple times to get adequate pressure then starting shows that the fuel pump is on its way out.
72k here. Original engine. Functioning IMRC. I usually change the oil mid season and before winter storage, so realistically it gets about 2500 miles max per oil change. Original trans and clutch as well.
Just recently swapped to IRS, so the rear diff isn't original to the car.
What’s the offset? I have 17x10.5 Forgestars on my 97 w/IRS. Tires are 285/40. They’re +31 and I had to run a small spacer to clear the bracket bolt. Have plenty of clearance to the quarter panel though.
I swapped an IRS into my 97 and the IRS I bought did not have these brackets/bolts. Can anyone tell me what size the bolt is?
Here's a picture. It's the bolt next to the spring cup. I need to do something as my parking brake cable is hitting the coil spring and making some noise. Only other...
Rings, are your piston rings. When they're worn, you're in for a rebuild. Excessive oil in your catch can will further reinforce this. If your rings are worn, you'll have more blow-by which will induce pressure into your crank case.
I'd do a leak down test to assess the health of your...
Valve stem seals are usually a cold start puff. I've always been under the impression oil smoke on hard acceleration is ring wear. Now, if it's black smoke, which would indicate a rich condition, valve stem seals and ring wear aren't at all what you need to start looking at.
I may be in the minority here (since I know a lot of people think SN's are cheaper than dirt), but I'd be asking $15k+ if it were mine.
Recaro's, griggs SLA, intercooled Vortech, built trans and rear, and low mileage. Those are all major items.
That car is a forged short block away from being...
