Traction and handling wise, whats safer for the street? I'm not talking about a daily driver, but are they worth getting for weekend driving? Are they actually safer than the stock tires?

Both have a 3.5 liter DOHC 24-valve V6 engine, but one has more power, and one has more torque. Are these models really that different in performance? 287 hp @ 6,200 rpm 274 lb-ft @ 4,800 rpm 300 hp @ 6,400 rpm 260 lb-ft @ 4,800 rpm
