This is exactly how a bad exhaust valve seat in my old 302 turned into a 408 Windsor and TKO 600 [emoji38]

I’ve talked with several Cobra replica owners over the years and the 2 things that I hear constantly are, they are usually hot in the passenger compartment and they almost always overbuild the engine, meaning they have more power than they need, and feel that takes away from the driving...
On the subject of the SPR, I knew that the containment of the SPR is a salt mine. What I recently learned is that the design is to be a “holding” facility only, and can only be drawn down a very small number of times before the mine starts to lose structural integrity. So Biden doing this is...
Theaters around here (northwest Arkansas) are doing that too, plus serving food and alcohol!

This is exactly why I think it is so silly to transplant coyotes in vintage Mustangs. I’m not knocking the coyote, just saying I fail to see the logic behind the work/money required for this swap especially when the Windsor and Cleveland engine platforms are so capable and already fit!

This. Big time.
I think the answer to this is simple. Every owner of a fully electric installs a diesel generator on their property that will run all night to charge their car.

I still call McDonalds “McDowells”. Most people never catch it, but on rare occasions I get a good laugh out of someone [emoji23]

I’ve got some with my dads Acapulco Blue ‘69 Mach I, which also looks really good on this body style. I just have to figure out how to post pictures here again. I haven’t posted a picture here in years [emoji38]

This is true for a modern Ford chassis, but swapping a 4.6/5.0 into almost any Ford chassis older than the Fox requires major customization. This 7.3 might be just the ticket for people with older Ford platforms that want modern Ford power.

Looking to get a '15 or '16 automatic with premium interior for my daughters first car. Is there a clearly better engine between the I4 turbo and the V6? Also, any known issues I should watch out for?
Thanks in advance for any input!
In my opinion you are going the right direction. When replacing steering/suspension components you might want to look for rollerized versions of the stock components, I.E. the idler arm. The speedo is probably off because someone replaced the rear end ratio and failed to install the appropriate...
The earlier 6 cylinder cars were 4 lug. All of the V8's were 5 lug, and by 69 they had completely dropped the 4 lug spindles.
If you continue to have trouble with the windows, swap them over to 1970 windows, like stated earlier. The 1970 windows bolt to the regulator! Be careful of going to...
Wow great numbers! This is exactly why I don't understand why so many people insist on hacking up a classic just to fit a Coyote or Mod motor when a stroked Windsor can make these numbers easily and reliably. Nothing against any of the OHC motors, just doesn't make sense to put them in these cars.
Out of curiosity, what are you doing to strengthen the chassis? A few hard launches, on sticky tires, with that amount of TQ and you might not be able to close the doors again lol. I have purposely let traction be the weal link in my '70 fastback until I get the chassis strong enough for my 408W.
