Yes he tried a couple of different things in the tune but the idle never changed. He’s a well known tuner on this forum that a lot of people use and everyone says he the best at tuning 03/04 cobras.
Yes he knows I switched to return style fuel system. I told him about the idle problem I’m having. He said the tune was good that it might be a vacuum leak but I didn’t have that problem before the swap.
Just curious did you have idle problems before the new fuel system and tune. The reason I’m asking is I installed Fore L1 fuel system and new tune and now my cars idle surges up and down from 900rpm and drops to 400 rpm. Never had idle problems before the new fuel system and tune.
The ccrm has four relays in it pcm, cooling fan, fuel pumps, and a/c. When it was shorting out my fan, fuel pumps and pcm were clicking on and off and the pats light was blinking fast. It’s located under passenger side fenderwell.
I had a problem like that while driving the car it would just die. I also thought it was the pcm I replaced it and still the same thing. It was the relay in the ccrm was going out. It finally went out and wasn’t powering the pcm anymore so therefore no communication with the pcm. Do you have...
Yes fuel pressure is set at 40 psi with key on engine off. The car idled fine before I switched to the return fuel system and new tune. That’s the only thing I changed on it.
The base fuel pressure is set at 40psi. Yes still using the frps and the pumps run full time. All vacuum lines are hooked up and in good condition. It only does it at idle other than that the car runs good at wot.
Car idled fine before changing to return fuel system. Now the idle surges between 800 to 400 rpms up and down. Changed IAC valve just to see but still the same. My tuner said it could be a vacuum leak the only vacuum line I took off was for frps that I put a t on for the regulator vacuum. Just...
