Sounds and looks like you could be experiencing communication issues between Instrument Cluster (IPC) and your Vehicle Dynamic Suspension (VDS) and Electronic Power Assist Steering (EPAS) Systems.
Scan the car with a quality scanner for com faults (U) codes.
You can get them here @MustangSteve1965 . The one @2011 gtcs has is the original style. Cant get them no more unfortunately.

Yes. This is true. If your not moving or no air flow is moving thru the engine compartment they will get warm but dont most SC cars get some form of heat soak from sitting idle. I cant really comfrim any heat soak concerns tracking the car but I will soon when I get the car setup they way I want...
KB liquid cooled don't really run that hot. Data log from 2022 middle of August in the mid 90's. 48 min cruise. My 3.6 IAT2 avg was barely 118 deg. Avg ECT was 175 deg. Not to shabby IMO.
That engine pic was from KB site. Not my engine. I do have the exact setup thou in the SS. I'm nudging @2011 gtcs to go KB. Whipple makes a great SC but can't touch a KB SC whine....You can't go wrong with either. Both are badass American made products.
When I had my 2014 CTS V Coupe UPR didn't have a standard kit that they sold. But they were able to make a kit up for me out of gm kits that they did sell. You should give them a call and tell them what you need and want. I'm 99% sure they can put something together for you.
I'm using the Shelby GT500 Single Valve Oil Catch Can CSS kit from UPR. (Best Catch Can on the market IMO). The driver side is basically a breather. So my setup consists of breathers on both sides. CFM breather is on the other side where the oil cap was in the valve cover. No residual oil...
I've been using these for the last 3 years. Never had a issue with them and never no oil residue or misting out of these. Love' em!

Im very familiar with PO300 code. It just needs to be diagnosed properly. ***That code has nothing to do with a no start.
Do you have any other DTC codes? Anyone of these could be causing your no start. Check the following
Anti-theft system
Battery
Battery cables
Fuse
Starter relay

SS Hoods can still be aquired here. I believe BMC Extreme Customs were the original manufacturer of the SS hood.

Thanks for reminding me........:ROFLMAO:! Are you really sure you want a SS.....lol. Either hood or rim damage would be a devastating blow. No choice but to go aftermarket if it happens....... Im still gonna drive it like I stole it thou......:giggle:.
Unfortunately, you are 100% spot on! When I started this thread some parts have already gone obsolete. As of today...... the list has gotten even bigger for the 2013-14 Shelby GT500'S. It was a thread in good intent to bring awareness to those who intend to hold on to their shelbys the parts...
Welcome to SVTP! The best Ford/Mustang/Shelby GT500 forum on the web with tons of knowledgeable members and info. Check out the average prices here. Usually low mileage, clean and unmolested, or one slightly modded will run around the $60K price range...
Thats alot more noticable in that clip! I would not assume anyone's word of how much minor wear they think is there, I would prefer a mechanic get real numbers than assume and compare to motor specifications. Thats the right way!!! Just my 2cents.
Im sure there is some minor wear. Its normal. A higher quality oil might help quite down the valvetrain as well. Amsoil works wonders on the 5.8's compared to motorcraft......IMO.
