    Reverse/Back-up camera install DIY

If I remember correctly, I tapped into the reverse light bulb harnesss. I can’t check either since I no longer own the car. Sorry.

    Reverse/Back-up camera install DIY

Once you get in there, you’ll see. I routed the rope through some of the holes under the underside of the trunk lid. The rope can then go through the side of the seatback. Once you remove the rearseat seat bottom, you’ll be able to leave the rope there.

FOR SALE: (South FL) 2004 SVT Cobra Terminator *MYSTICHROME* convertible 53k miles

Thanks. The car has a great blend of common tasteful mods along with some other goodies. Engine is pretty much stock. Not in a rush to sell, just hoping it goes to a good home.

Greased steering rack bushings, now steering wheel crooked

FIXED/SOLUTION: I positioned my car with the tires pointing straight and my steering wheel crooked. Put the car on jack stands. I loosened both bushing bolts. With the key in the ON position, I had someone straighten and hold the steering wheel. The rack shifted to one side. I then secured the...

Greased steering rack bushings, now steering wheel crooked

Thanks for the replies. I pulled the car in my garage straight on (with crooked steering wheel). I’ll disconnect the rack and have someone center the wheel. I’m guessing there’s a gap to move the wheel when you pull the rack far enough forward.

Greased steering rack bushings, now steering wheel crooked

They are not offset bushings. I simply took it apart to inspect bc of the creaking. That part is resolved now, whether it was from the grease or from the proper torque. My concern now is the best approach for getting the steering wheel straight again. I’d rather not have to pretty much redo...

Greased steering rack bushings, now steering wheel crooked

I have been having a creaking noise coming from my front end when I turn the wheel. After inspecting it, it turns out my car already had the MM solid aluminum bushings kit along with polyurethane front bushings. However, they didn’t have any grease on them. While on jack stands (and wheels in...

P0133 code (pending), but no CEL

I’ve been looking at the SCT X3 tuner. Would this work fine for my application? I’m still gathering information since this is my first time dealing with any type of tune. Also, how much would a tune run for roughly?

P0133 code (pending), but no CEL

When I first got the car, I was doing the occasional spirited drive. I was making frequent trips to the gas station though, so I decided to drive a bit more conservatively and log my MPGs. I just wasn’t expecting 10 MPGs while taking it easy around town. While I know you have to pay to play, it...

P0133 code (pending), but no CEL

LoL. I guess there aren’t too many of us. The car has not been tuned. So if it’s just the positioning of the sensor and I don’t plan to do a tune, should I just live with it? I have heard somewhere that a tune is recommended by just having headers. Would a tune give me more power and better...

P0133 code (pending), but no CEL

I also want to add that the car idles well right on 750 RPMs. I also have an AEM wideband that reads 14.5-14.7 at idle/cruising once it’s warmed up.

P0133 code (pending), but no CEL

All along I have been getting a CEL, but it was mostly for the downstream O2 sensor due to no cats (P2270). I recently had a couple cats welded onto my x-pipe, and it resolved my gas smell coming from my exhaust. Other than JLT RAI, Mac longtubes, Mac Pro-chamber, and Borla Ataks, the car is...

Installing ATS Brembos on the Cobra.

Thanks Termn804. If I understand it, then it is measurement A which is the face of the rotor to the max protrusion of the caliper…which is 46mm. If so, that is very helpful. I’ll check my car’s current setup and post those results too. Thanks!

Installing ATS Brembos on the Cobra.

Thanks for the replies guys. Let me add more info… I bought a Terminator with the ATS Brembos already installed. I need to know how much more they protrude vs the stock calipers in order to calculate spoke clearance. I’m in the market for some new 18” wheels, and this info would be highly...

Installing ATS Brembos on the Cobra.

I couldn’t sleep last night and read most of the 42 pages on here, but I cannot find anyone posting about the caliper thickness of the ATS vs the stock 2004 front caliper. Does anyone have the exact measurements? I’m in the market for some new wheels and need to crunch some offset numbers...

    Reverse/Back-up camera install DIY

I just ran it parallel and used some Tessa tape to give it an OEM look. Since I have a convertible that does not have the fold down rear seats, I also ran a cable to the bottom cushions from the manual trunk release pull. It’s just in case my trunk popper fails and I need to get in there. Not...
