I am going to change my ignition lock cylinder on my 98 cobra, however they sell them with or without the transponder keys. I have bypassed my PATS system with my tuner, therefore can I use a lock cylinder that is without transponder keys?

I changed the switch module box and not it won't turn over however everything in car comes on and I can jump starter this is a manual transmission also. When it starts after jumping starter it cuts off like there's a fuel issue.
