Silly idea but couldnt you make a bar out of 2 inch square tubing with a loop in the center for the winch and a loop on each end and attach tow hooks threw the opening in the bumper beside the fog lights. I'll go look at mine but I'm pretty sure theres a clear path to the control arm
Depending on how bad the dents are a body shop could fix them without any body work and for the extra couple hundred bucks would raise the resale value. Imo could be money well spent
I agree. The seller can price it at anything he wants to. Is it over priced? I would say yeah its definitely on the high side. Theres always someone out there that has more money then brains and I'm sure they'll buy it.
It doesnt sound like a head tick! You'll hear it clear as day if it was. The noise is coming from underneath. Which lead me to believe the tob. I highly doubt it's a rod bearing. Keep us posted on your findings
Sometimes yes sometimes no. Its low miles so it was never driven. Lots of time to build up surface rust on bare metal parts even in a heated garage. Moisture is always there. Hopefully that's the issue
Same thing happened to me with the rain. Previous owner never drove it in the rain and the day I went to pick it up it rained on the way back 8hr drive on an open trailer. Washed the next day! And hasn't seen rain since

Lol. 17 years is old and it's based of the platform from the 80's it's old technology. Theres no doubt there could be an issue but it's not effecting driveability so for now I'm not worried
Well I did notice the regular lights would dim as well if the idle would drop from releasing the clutch. I just chalked it up as old technology lol it is an 03 and their ability then to regulate voltage isnt as good as today and havent looked any further into it yet
Well that's good news. I recently looked on their website and noticed they removed the gen 3 for termi. I'm looking at upgrading in the future and vmp seems to be route I'm gonna go. So by the time I'm ready to pull the trigger on one it should be available!
I'm experiencing a similar issue. I switched to LED headlights and fog lights. The daytime running lights flicker on first start up then after abit they just pulse. Alternator checks out at 14.3v. I'm thinking maybe voltage regulator? I havent really looked into it yet but will soon enough
Absolutely! The Gov is going to tax it more because of decrease in revenue from gasoline. Going electric is not the solution at all. Atleast not right now or the near future until the energy is 100 percent from a green source. Then again pissing in the wind makes perfect sense to the Gov
This just drives me nuts about hybrids and electric vehicles and how the gov is setting regulations for vehicles when 62.7 percent of energy source in the states is from fossil fuels and going electric is going to put a higher demand on the electric grid which in turn creates more pollution then...
Your 1-2 and 2-3 shifts are slow. Drive it like you stole it. Smash the clutch and rip those gears. I always put pressure on the stick even before I smash the clutch so it comes out and into the next gear even faster. 1-2 is easy, the mistakes happen at the 2-3 lol
The abs is picking up different signals, like other guy said. Check the abs rings could be simple like build up on the ring or a bad connection to the sensor
