Well, I stand corrected :) I'll be putting a hybrid BCA with the FB 2nd gear leave brake behind my turbo 5.2 Coyote, which is why I am asking about the trans. Going in a 65 Falcon, so should also be pretty light. Keep us updated!

Overall, how well is your trans holding up to those times and power level? I imagine your car isn't very light.

Yep! I know Darrin does those from BCA and I think FB as well. Who built your trans? Randy Seward runs an FB trans and leaves in first gear and he's run some 7.9x passes recently...twin turbo 363 fox body. Fast! You're car looks great and runs awesome.

It's a 4R70? If so and with stock gears it's a 2.84...I wish they made a 1.84 first gear for them! Ha!

It can do any of the above. If you had a auto VB it could shift for you , but since you don’t then it can control lockup, OD, and monitor all of your pressures, slip, and temps, etc.

Yeah I’d go 6R before 4L any day. I’m going 4R due to Holley trans control.

Ah ok. Thanks for the reply. I'd say you still may be good with the 4R at that power without going through the expense of a Chevy trans swap.
