Thanks Riddick. I'd love to see how it does at the track too. The nearest track will likely boot me after one good pass since I don't have a cage and other safety stuff they require. Not sure one pass is worth the time and effort. Planning to wait until the pandemic cools down since my wife...
Right. It was "look at how cool EcoBoost is". Never a fit for a supercar in my opinion. Off the showroom floor performance is good, but it lacks the same potential as a larger displacement engine. Case in point is the standing mile record holding Ford GT. Not a V6.
That's about what my car should run on wastegate pressure, but I turned it up to about 16 psi for that race. I was almost at the top of 2nd gear for two races and the top of 3rd for another race. When we raced from 2nd I spun and we were side by side for a little while, but from 3rd I pulled...
Warm up race was a yellow motorcycle with a swing arm. After beating a Busa the last time out I tried to give this guy the hit to make it interesting. He wouldn't go with it and gave me the hit. I gapped him by a school bus before letting off. Was ready to go again on a honk, but he wouldn't...
You could also search around to see if anyone happens to be selling a used set.
You sure they aren't still made?
This isn't them? (several different fitments) JoesShowroom.com - Boyd Coddington B7080L Smoothie II Polished - Custom Performance Aftermarket Wheels, Replica Rims, Cheap...
Things a time capsule. Ashtray lid isn't even broken yet.
Always liked that style of map light. I have one in a box somewhere that I'd like to rig up in my '93.
Yeah they look great. I didn't start out looking for a car with that kit, but after reading about them it was my top choice.
The original plan was to Coyote swap my '93 coupe. With $20k already in it, and a swap costing another $15k+, I just pressed the easy button. Haven't regretted it...
I have a ‘93 325i parked in a field. It had so many problems and doesn’t run, so I just parked it and haven’t dealt with it yet. When it was running it was such a great car. Handled like it was glued to the road!
My GT has heated seats and I’d happily trade them for cooled seats.

I like the stock look too. It’s one reason I picked this car. Aside from the GT500 rear valance it, and if they don’t notice the drag radials, mine looks stock.
I don’t plan to use this car in that type of Winter, but I can say it works well at 105F. Lol
I’ve been really impressed with...
Yes, I can only run on E85. I don't have a tune for pump gas. Something about it running too lean.
Thanks for the Busa lesson. I'm thinking it was a first gen. I don't recall seeing it wrap around the tire.
Wish I had my GoPro on. Would have been fun to watch it over and over, lol.
It's all coming together! Well done, it looks great!
For the rims, I'd switch to the narrow fronts and reuse those tires if you can. Then keep the old front rims to use on the rear with a special occasion stickier tire.
Thanks! I didn't even know it was a Busa until I got home and Googled it, lol.
I'm sure there are plenty of Busas out there that could take me to Gapplebees.
Edit: Thought it may have been a 2003 because it had a second seat behind the driver, but it looks like that was an option for other...
