I have one, best mod for the car ever. Works great, easy to set up, easy to use. I use the tallest blocks that came with it, and they work good. Read the threads above.
Beautiful looking car! Nice write up on the axle movement. I agree, it isn't much, but could be enough to rub in some set ups. The live axle/pan hard bar is definitely not the limiting factor in these cars when cornering hard. I have a Gen 2 Whipple 2.9 in mine for power as well.
I am in the middle of converting my car over to more road racing as well. I will be going with the Cortex Watts link as well. Right now I have 305/35/18 Toyo R888R on 18x11s, on all Four corners, and Cortex JRi adjustable coilovers. If all the watts link does is settle rear end down through the...
Sorry to here OP, never fun. I hope you get it taken care of. It would probably be a good time to pull the motor since winter is coming and just go through it 100%. Wether you replace anything or not, at least you’ll be fully satisfied everything was doubled checked.
It is a Gen 2. Not sure what the difference is for Gen 4-5, I know they make a lil more hp per boost, as they are more efficient. I am just not sure if the pulley sizes create the same amount of boost or not.
Why not run both? 750whp on pump, with the occasional pulls seems to be just fine with these engines. If you want/need more power, then yes, make the switch.
Selling a used GT500KR strut brace. It says Ford Racing on the center. Great looking piece. No bends, just normal wear from installing and uninstalling. $350 plus shipping.
Yea I just watch ECT, iat/iat2, volts, spark, ect on mine. Use it for uploading tunes, check DTCs if needed, RPMs I have set to match my OEM Shift light. I also have separate gauges for boost, fuel, afr as well.
Vipers are nice, we have a couple around here, both are twin turbo making 1600whp-2000whp. Stock ones aren’t too bad, not the fastest but quick enough. I think the owners said they each have $300k into them. I guess each their own.
I took mine off when I installed them. Made it easier. Probably will leave it off for awhile. Don’t see the point of it as PMP suggested. By the time those clips melt and it drops down to smother your car/engine that is on fire, not sure there will be much left to smother..
Yes you can upgrade to 13/14 Front Brakes and S550 Front Brakes with no adaptors in the front. You can even upgrade to GT350 Front brakes with an adaptor in the front. Shouldn’t be a problem.

I’m sure you are aware, but you can get the rest or any different parts you may want from Fore directly or just make your own. They are a great source of knowledge.
