I would coyote swap if you haven't already started building the 4.6. For the cost, you'll get more power & more reliably. I just built my 4.6 last summer(out of necessity, bad rod bearing), and had I known at the time how much I was going to end up spending, I'd have went ahead and spent more on...
I wouldn't necessarily consider an 01 cobra all that fast either, so comparatively, it's a pretty quick car. Especially considering it wasn't from a dig.
I'd like to go ahead and put 4.10's in the car, but I'm not certain that I'd stick with that once it's boosted.
I keep it pretty simple now. 5150 III 60 watt 2x12 combo, a 535q crybaby, and the built in reverb, and occasionally I’ll hook something else up. I guess dragging all the extra stuff around influenced my decision. Initially I used an MXR Distortion +, electro harmonix holy grail, MXR Carbon Copy...
On the way the freeway yesterday evening, running about 75 mph in my cobra, and a red GTO comes flying up behind me. The cobra is a few hundred miles into it’s second oil change post engine rebuild and this is the first chance I’ve had to really push it. Full exhaust/bolt on, 10:1 comp, tune...
If it’s a Mach 460, there should be tweeters in the boxes behind the panels on either side of the rear seats.
I had a 98 convertible, so they should be about the same in the new edge. I would be curious, if there are no tweeters, if there is anything to hook them up to. The speakers in the rear...
I still have my tweeters in the rear, and the head unit. The head unit has displays “CD error” when you switch to CD, but otherwise it’s fine. I may also have the door speakers still, but I’ll check later this week. They’re not plugged in currently. I’m in GA as well. When I get the car back...
The difference in sound before and after breaking in the speakers will hardly be noticed. I would recommend trying the high pass filter if the speakers sound distorted at greater volumes and turn the frequency up on the HPF until the distortion is gone. If that cuts too much bass out, I would...
Can’t be any worse than the Clermont Lounge here in Atlanta. Where strippers go to die.
Although, I can’t say I didn’t enjoy it.

My brother works for Polaris/Indian and he doesn’t have many good things to say for the slingshot. Tons of recalls and a pain to work on. Adding a supercharger or turbo doesn’t help much because they lack available traction as is. You can’t install a wider tire/wheel in the rear without having a...
My uncle once told me there are only two things you need to know in life,
First, never trust a fart
Second, never waste an erection.

Old truck: 2wd 2003 lariat with steel bumper set into the frame.
New truck: 2012 4x4 5.0 XLT. Just got tonneau cover. I’ll get a leveling kit when it needs new tires.
Definitely getting bored over. Going with a set of forged pistons and rods, and if the crank can’t be machined, she’s getting a stroker as well. I told him to bump the compression as high as he thought we could safely go on 93 naturally aspirated. I’m excited to get it back(at least a month from...
That’s a good looking amp. Another plus, is all of the inputs and speaker outputs appear to be on one side, unlike the pioneer. Makes hiding cable much easier. Take a picture of your bracket and what it looks like when it’s installed. I’m curious to see how well hidden it will be.
Keep in mind...
