FYI, for anyone reading this and also looking to do their diff. I got informed from Lethal that the Eaton True Trac is no longer in stock with no ETA. I luckily got one off of Summit but it doesn't seem like they're going to last much longer.
I'm a machinist by trade so I hate the thought of paying someone else. But I agree. Might be worth it to just drop it off.

Wish I knew about this when I did my transmission build. Just ordered the parts. Can't wait to see the difference.

Did you do the install yourself? I've never rebuilt a diff, but I feel like I could if I took my time and did lots of research?
(I'm the OP, I accidentally made a second account without realizing it. Could never figure out how to delete it)
I'm looking to get r888r's on my car, same as you 315 35 17. I have all stock suspension on my vert though. Should I be okay or will I have to roll fenders/ need wheel spacers?

Thanks, I'm in the same boat lol. I only used facebook for car things but once I found this app I no longer needed it so I delete it.

How did you contact him? I sent a PM about a week ago, I'm not sure if that's the correct way to go about starting the datalog tune process.

I'm only running the bama tune while I break in my clutch and trans. I'll be getting a real tune very shortly. I'm staying out of boost until then.

I just did a completely overhaul on my t56. It basically has all new bronze/billet everything. The only thing not replaced new was the gears themselves. They were repointed. Brand new clutch, fly wheel, everything to go with it, etc. 4th and 5th make the same whining noise you describe. I think...
Added pulleys, tune, and an afr guage for datalogging. Also changed out plugs to tr6. Unbelievable how different the car is. I love driving it.

Thanks, most of the info from this forum helped me figure out what I need. This place is like the cobra bible.
I spoke with my builder about that too because I was worried about the spacing. He said I should be fine the way he set it but it never hurts to check.

This winter I completely overhauled my transmission and its finally finished, installed and ready to be broken in. I did the complete overhaul for a few reasons. Something was funky with 3/4 gear and 5/6 had a slight whine to it. The clutch that was in it (spec) was so difficult for me to drive...
Does anyone know of a fix for the grille gap? Initially I thought my bumper was replaced with a cheap replica, but it appears to be the factory one. And I've noticed many cobras with the same gap. It seems like the grille insert was not made tall enough too reach the hood.
I'll try to get a photo soon, all I remember is that it was red. My car is in storage somewhere else atm

So I just finished up my heat exchanger install and I wanted to share what happened and get some opinions. After pulling the lines on the factory heat exchanger, I could not get the coolant to drain from the tank at all. After some tinkering, I looked inside the small 90 degree hose that...
Im currently running nitto 555 g2 315/35/17. My cobra doesn't know what traction is...lol. I plan on throwing nt05r's on as soon as these are spanked.

Hi guys, I'm new to the forum. This will be my first winter with my cobra. I picked up a McLeod rst and flywheel, long tubes, x pipe. Plan on doing the input shaft as well. I'm looking into doing the ftbr kit to top it all off. Here's my car
